Archibald and Crooks were amazing together , its amazing as they didnt get on
Clive Allen was right up there as well, dont think we will ever see another Tottenham player get 49 goals in a season,.. should of made it 50 in the cup final
Gazes had magic in his boots. Completely different positions of course before we go down the goals route.
Bale has looked lost at times through the middle, and can't influence games on his own from there yet. Has that Gerrard-like ability to score a screamer if course.
I'm not talking Gazza of Rangers here, post-injury, but the Gazza of Bale's age. The seasons either side of the WC90 before his injury.
Magician - had everything
Richard Gough RIP..

Are you sure?
its a bit like comparing a ferarri from the 80s/90s with one from now. Which is unfair.
Even football evolves with the enhancements in sports science and how players are developed/coached/ and monitored.
Bale is the epitome of the modern footballer, but this is built on the learning of players past. Its better to compare like with like within an era. I.e. Bale vs Ronaldo or the likes of Robben.
I was watching a youtube vid of bale and you could see
why the Real Madrid fans are creaming themselves
at the thought of getting Bale.
Bale needs to do a Maradonna and single handedly win us the League title then he will be a god
what do you mean am i sure. what that hes dead ?
well i wouldnt put RIP if he was alive
Richard Gough the ex rangers defender? he's deffo not dead
sorry im thinking of Dean richards what a plum
I think that Gough is living in the states now.
well i wouldnt put RIP if he was alive

Well he is...
Weare - Archibald & Crookes what a partnership with Hoddle, Ardiles & Villa feeding them !!
Chivers & Gilzean were great as well !!
Waddle was one heck of a player too. For some reason does not get mentioned very much here when we talk about past players.
Hoddle was like a Rolls Royce he had it all he could pick a pass long or short he could run with the ball and he scored some great goals from midfield !!
Lennon's p c , I was gutted when waddle left
There's much more to football than what goes on in and around the opposition box.

Isnt it a shame that some players will be remembered more for what they have done / said after finishing their playing career?
This going for both Gazza & Hoddle i suppose.
I can see why certain legends & club cult heroes prefer to just stay out of the game fullstop after their playing days are over.
Chicken - I agree totally have a look at these two clips ;-

Mullery - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ARMgnMb92g
If only we had Gazza or Glen in todays team along with Klinsmann, we would have a serious chance at the title.
The amazing thing about that Hoddle volley is that the ball never touched the floor from the goal kick, bets thats not happened very often
That was my favorite Tottenham kit as well
Hoddle klinsman gazza in the team we would walk the league
this article is a disgrace.
