I'll go along with that Doc. At least the majority of them (the ones that deal with us anyway) appear to be a bunch of whoppers. I'd hazard a guess that some of them embarrass their own fans.
Yeah, obviously you can't tar all fans of a club with the same brush, but it's the only explanation I can think of for them suddenly acting as if there's a rivalry between ourselves and themselves.
City, for instance, are similar enough; behind Liverpool for years but now comfortably ahead of us - the difference being that they're achieving tangible success and properly trading blows with their traditional rivals, so City care as little about us now as we did about them.
Spurs, on the other hand, have only a couple of humbling collapses and finishes behind Arsenal ("Mind the gap", anyone?) to show for their progress in terms of being able to lord it over their rivals.
It's a fact of life boys that no one takes liverpool seriously any more or their fans. You have a reputation on this site for being a bunch of clowns who get everyone banned from your board
Don't expect a serious conversation when you're gonna act like a bunch of faggotts

Please, sir, what can we do regain your respect? What folk like your good self think of us is a pressing concern of ours, and it must be addressed as a matter of urgency.

True, imagine if we'd managed to get an amusing abbreviation of maris piper banned because it was making us cry.
'Arry = 4th - Triffic
AVB = 5th - Poo-Squat-Flop.
Dalglish = no one gives a shiet
Rodgers = Liverpool still not relevant
Hey, weren't spurs 4th last year, 5th this year, has the mighty puh squatter done worse than Hairy Redkapp?
Messiah
You take that back

wound up?
By your judgement of who improved the team the most, Rodgers is a better manager than Mourinho! Sid it, he made mid table Liverpool better by 11 points
In all seriousness, Rodgers will do well at Liverpool and personally I think they will challenge top 4 next season.
Hmmm
AVB takes Spurs down a place in league
Rodgers takes Liverpool up a place
Rodgers wins
Next season is liverpools....they'll have kolo toure. I'm shittingmyself with fear already. No stopping them.
Lfc got one better league position this season cos Newcastle failed to show. Apart from that its the same as before, miles iff top 4 and able to coast home under no pressure since March when their failed season ended. 7th place, abysmal in all the cups...that is what constitutes a good season for LFC, standards have truly plummeted at the once might lfc
Newcastle failed to show and Chelsea had a net spend of 70m to make sure they qualified for the CL.. whoever was in charge.
Liverpool made decent signings in Coutinho and Sturridge but Mr Bitey is a stain on their name. No top four for them for at least 3 seasons imo.
Unless lfc spend large again (they'll need 2 new CBs better cover at FB, someone to do a better job than Allen and a 2nd DM) then they will struggle for the consistency they've lacked for 3 or 4 seasons. I don't rate BRs ability to really get them competing at the highest level. He's never done it before and nothing so far has given me the impression he can do it in the future.
Why is it always that Spurs "lost Modric and VDV" ?
Did they lost them down the back of the sofa? Or did they in fact choose to sell them?
Why is it the Spurs supporters give the Liverpool supporters the right to reply on the Spurs board, but the Liverpool board has pretty well a blanket ban on any poster that has questioned the might of Liverpool FC. Bunch of whiney cry babies that thought they were going to stay at the top forever, but are just now a mid-table cannon fodder team for the top teams. It`s always everybody else`s fault except the scousers.
Can`t even understand why you lot keep coming on the Spurs board, when you have banned nearly all it`s posters.
For me both had OK seasons, good 1st seasons at each respective club, and will look to push on with moulding the team into more of their image.
AVB - Took over from Harry with Tottenham on a 30 year league high, was never going to be an easy job, had to replace key players King, Modric and VDV, the signings brought in have been a mixed bag, we now have better ball retention but a lack of creativity. Missed Modric and VDV, with Bale rescuing quite a few times late on. For all my life if Tottenham were losing I would never have hope of turning the game around, AVB has made this hope possible there is a new resilience in the team.
Brendan - Took over after a disappointing league season, Under Kenny Liverpool played good attacking football but squandered too many chances or hit the post, 2nd half of this season and Rodgers seems to have cured that, scoring goals for fun, good dynamic football. Signings of Coutinho and Sturridge have been great business so far, Borini I can't comment as haven't seen too much of him.
Brought through youngsters into the team and is taking Liverpool in right direction.
For me I would say they are equal 1st seasons and next season I would expect Liverpool to be closer to Spurs than in recent years. Based on current squads the 5th and 6th best in the premier IMO.
"It's a fact of life boys that no one takes liverpool seriously any more or their fans. You have a reputation on this site for being a bunch of clowns who get everyone banned from your board"
Well, you lot care so much about LFC that you devote entire articles to us.
How many Spurs articles are on the Liverpool board?
You are irrelevant to most of the Premier League.
Why is it always that Spurs "lost Modric and VDV" ?
--
We "lost Modric" cost he sulked and Real came in. VDV was always going to struggle under AVB. However they left they'd be a loss to any team - top class players.
Liverpool lost Kuyt, Maxi etc and sent Carroll out on loan as well.
Spurs fans clutching at straws to convince themselves AVB has improved them. Taking aim at LFC to make themselves feel better.
Fact is LFC have improved and Spurs have either regressed slightly or mark timed on the spot. I don't know why its so hard for Spurs fans to accept this when it is clear to see (IMO) that they will eventually progress under AVB.
clutching at straws?
All time PL points record is a FACT.
The fact that Arsenal and (most obviously) Chelsea did much better than last season resulted in our final league position. Also, a net spend of 0.
What straws are Liverpool fans clutching at considering a net spend of 40m to still finish below Everton?
