Funny how all the RS say we are a hoofball team and yet they are the ones who bought a 6ft 4 inch donkey of a forward only 2 seasons ago.
If we are a hoofball team btw lads it says it all about your team that you can't finish above us 2 seasons in a row and the previous 2 seasons you finished 5 points above us despite yu spending a nett £100million+ more than us over the same period.
In fairness, there's a difference between a 50 yard pass that Steven Gerrard pings out to Sturridge's feet, and Phil Jagielka sending an up-and-under for Fellaini to contest with a centre-back.

Spot on at least the ball is being aimed at a player
Brilliant news, a relegation fodder manager in charge o the blues ......then to cap it moyes I won fk all goes to utd ......then to further top that maureen comes back in at cfc....awesome.

So every time the ball is collected on the chest or feet of head of the likes of Felliani then that's by luck is that what you are saying??

The general consensus amongst Liverpool fans is that Carroll should be sold. If we were saying that Carroll should be brought back from his loan so we could hoof balls at him whilst simultaneously laughing at Everton doingtthe same thing, then you'd have a point.
Wimbledon....Everton....Stoke....no difference really.
But your club bought him though Dr and as far as I'm aware you still have him on your books.About only 3 forwards in the premiership are suited to hoofball and you have one of them on your books
Liverpool FC are now a stepping stone for players to join the really big modern day clubs that win titles.
Where will Suarez end up??
But when its thumped forward to Sturridge or Suarez its a measured through ball.
______________
Yeah because it goes over the defence not just up in the air for the CB and big man up top to challenge for the header.
Oh dear. After about 15 comments I thought we were headed for a constructive Liverpool-Everton debate. I knew it couldn't last.

I'm not entirely sure what you're having trouble understanding here; the long and short of it is that Andy Carroll will never play football for Liverpool again because our football is too technical for him. You're basically emphasizing our lack of hoofball here.
Give it a rest phil......hes been on a season long loan and we are about to take a 20Mill hit on him just to get rid. We bought sturridge and coutinho who are both pacey and skillfull, oh and play with the ball at their feet.....something that is an alien concept to Everton.
Part of the reason Andy failed at Liverpool is because we just refused to play to his strengths, what does that tell you?
Dr Dr only 2 clubs have hoofball type forwards on their books LFC and Stoke. You can count West Ham but they only really took your donkey on a loan.

I notice that your clever wording exempts Everton from this, since they actually take a midfielder and put him up front so they can hoof the ball at him.
Martinez invented the passing football that Brendan Rodgers then went on to proclaim he invented.
Will be interesting to see how they fair against each other.
Martinez is alright but he never appeared to get to grips with how to make his team defend well.
Everton have one of the best defences in the league, if he tries to rip that up to make them play like Wigan have they'll be in trouble.
Wtf are Anichebe and Jelavic then ?
