I think the wages in Germany are not as steep as what some of the bigger teams in other countries pay so that may benefit Spurs.

I see he really does split opinion. I just honestly don't think we could get a better striker than him for 7 million.

If we signed Gomez, we would still need to bring in creativity in midfield/out wide.

He's a lot better than what we have atm

He is an incredibly wasteful forward but if this was on the cards I would like us to go for it. At 7m I would not see us doing much better. Also save money to spend elsewhere.

It looks very much like we are in for him or Diamao. The thing that we need to remember that these players are really hyped up. Gomez is not as good as his reputation and considering that Diamao is now only being linked with Marseille I am beginning to feel that this is a hyped player.

Won't get him for 7m. If Bayern were really willing to sell at that price, don't you think there would be interest from hundreds of clubs?

Of course we're not gonna sign Gomez, his reputation is to good. He won't take too big of a step down.

He is not that good. His reputation in europe is not as good as his reputation in the UK.

When I was living in Germany they would all sigh and roll their eyes when he was selected. They actually wanted Klose ahead of him.
