Couldn't agree more. The fact they offer a similar level of football to United but with so much more in terms of lifestyle is something that's really tough to compete with.

Now I've never actually been to Manchester and I'm sure it's got it's nice parts but on reputation I'd much rather live in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich and London (the list goes on).

Yeah so would I. Yes Manchester has got some very nice places and its a very good night out.
But as a footballer thinking as a non united fan I would choose London, Barcelona, Munich etc definitely.
In all honesty my preferred choice would be Barcelona. Lovely city and also has the beach.
Our nearest beach is Blackpool FFS

I suspect lots of players see playing for madrid as the pinnacle of a footballers career, we might be able to match them as a money maker but in terms of desirability we are nowhere near them, that's just a fact of life, outside of england, madrid are a far bigger draw, with a far far greater european pedigree.

Indeed i did. At least someone can read...

I can read perfectly fine.
did you not say he's the best player on the planet, maybe ever. Key words maybe ever, insinuating that you think he's possibly the best player ever.

can you read?

the climate in Madrid is not all that good, it is cold in the winter and far too hot in the summer, the climate in Barca (and Malaga) is far better.
and as a City its not that great either.
I have to go to Madrid with work and I am not keen.

He is one of the best players ever.

Nothing wrong with that statement.

Seeing as messi is the goat, and Ronaldo consistently is in the top two bracket begin him then yes it's plausible to call him one of he greatest ever players

What's funny about that?

And think very carefully before you answer because you'll be opening yourself up to a world full of ridicule no matter what you say.

It's debateable between him and maradona no one else comes close

I am not even going to bother "debating" with you because you are right every single time aren't you.

Messi greatest of all time is just the opinion of small minded idiots or idiots who were born after 1990.

No it isn't at all. I actually think pele and maradona were better than messi is now however I can see why people think messi is the greatest ever and I do think by the end of his career he will be the best ever. His performances and consistency are unbelievable and the amount he scores is truly incredible. I would say you have a very good argument as to why you think messi is the best. The only reason people go on is the fact he hasn't won a World Cup.

World cup doesn't mean anything.

When you compare the standards of leagues, pitches, players, balls etc compared to other eras its easy to see messi is no where near the greatest of all time, anyone who thinks so is probably no older than 22-23.

add to that in la liga everyone scores ridiculous amount of goals.

posted on 14/7/13

Messi definitely has a case for being called the best ever and by the time he retires he'll almost certainly have put the whole debate to bed.

No actually only two do.

And they score a similar amount In the champions league.

To answer your question OP, I am sure Ronaldo regrets nothing about leaving United. Obviously it was the right decision.
