Roma pretty much guaranteed CL qualification now
And it looks like they will guarantee automatic qualification as well!!
Also right now the tightest defence of any top league in Europe if I'm not mistaken, conceded fewer than Bayern I think.
A few things I'd like to comment on from this week:
Firstly, Rafa. Dearie, dearie me, is Rafa for real? He's just beaten Juventus to practically confirm a Champions League place and all he can do is start moaning at the finances? It would have been pathetic at best, but the fact that his club spent more than Juve' seems to escape him. I think he's a very good manager, but it is totally understandable how people don't like him.
On another note, Roma's stadium plans look impressive. It's going to cost a hell of a lot to fund, €300m, and that may set them behind a few years like Arsenal but they'll be better for it. Juve's stadium move has been an undoubted success and it can only be good for the league if more clubs follow this, I hear Inter are looking into this themselves too.
Also five wins on the bounce for Atalanta, great form.
Simone Scuffet, that is all
Udinese got two really good goalkeepers now, as I still rate Brkic well.
Catania have sacked the same manager twice now this season.
And also Luca Toni has more goals than Higuain.
A tiny bit of pressure on Juventus tonight, it should be a comfortable home victory as Livorno have been poor this season and Juve' are at home- but Roma have cut the gap to 5pts with the two teams still to play in Rome before the end of the season.
Also congratulations to Roma who have now mathematically guaranteed a Champions League place.
The weekend's results so far:
Sassuolo 1-1 Cagliari
Roma 3-1 Atalanta
Bologna 1-1 Parma
Verona 3-5 Fiorentina
Livorno 2-4 Chievo
Napoli 4-2 Lazio
Sampdoria 0-4 Inter
Torino 2-1 Genoa
Boring Serie A.
the last 5 minutes in Turin sounded exciting
Gilardino 85'
Immobile 90'
Cerci 90'
Immobile has had some season, I'm surprised there has been little interest in him. Torino from what I've seen of them this season have been good.

You could see the red mist coming down and he just wasn't able to hide it. We could tell what was coming and so we'd commandeer all the knives. Gattuso would grab a fork and try to stick it in us.
Some of us ended up missing games because of one of Rino's fork attacks, even if the official explanation from the club was one of muscle fatigue
Gattuso

Interesting excerpts, but I won't be buying it. Not really into player/manager biographies.
Things really hotting up in the race for the Europa spots. Things have fallen pretty nicely for Milan results wise and they're up to 7th now with Parma ahead on head to head.
With so many sides playing each other it's pretty hard to call, especially as Inter and Milan are shiiite.
Would be hilarious if Milan get Europe.
Milan vs United Europa final next season?
Unless we win it.
Yeah it would be pretty funny.
With Valencia drawing today you're looking good for a Europa place now. Valencia have a chance to win the Europa, though, so you need to try and finish above Sociedad just in case.
See if we facking do a Spurs.
I hope we don't draw United there are never any goals.
Yeah they're always crap games with you.
Our games with Celtic have actually been much better.
