Really proud of the way Villa played tonight, the referee had two opportunities to send off Ivanovic and took neither, and Villa were denied the most blatant of blatant handball penalties in the 90th minute. Sigh.

Seriously, villa fans should really shut up about poor officiating. The ref gave us nothing on Saturday. Cynical fouls all over the pitch to break our rythm and he couldn't be bothered to give yellow cards. Played a CLEAR advantage which they missed and then brought it back for a pen. Great tackle by Kos and he gives a pen and yellow leading to a sending off minutes later. They have NO right to complain about poor officiating having benefited massively on the weekend.
^^ Wot AU said on that. I didn't think it was a pen until they showed it on MOTD... Also if we're going into bad decisions in that game, Villa were on the receiving end of plenty... this performance was even worse, however can't fault the players for putting in 100% again.
