You've just got to perform well in your Group Pinky. Arsenal fans and other Fans are writing you off already and the draw was announced fully about 30 minutes ago.

Your capable of beating all of them teams with ease. Your also just as capable as losing. But perform well in all of your games and you'll get through as Group Winners without doubt. You only need a performance against them teams that 'gets the job done'. We don't need to see thunderous performances, just performances that get the job done.

It's not necessarily the Arsenal Fans, but some of them it is, but other Fans. How are they already 'out' of the competition? There is no optimism within the camp anymore, but who can blame them. Who can be optimistic when you can't win a trophy and you haven't for the last 8 years with a club of your size.

LRF
There are some that want us to go out to stick it to the man, you know? There's lack of optimism and then there's that which I find disgraceful. I'm rarely on that board anymore.

Wumpatrol, I agree. I post articles on there because I'm hoping to get some 'better' coversations going with a little bit more optimism within the camp, it's tough though. Not a great deal of belief though.

But you know, 1 article at a time I suppose...

Yeah, tbf there are many level headed posters there. Posters who do see issues at the club but don't blow things out of proportion as if they are a bunch of toddlers! The rest I would gladly filter without hesitating. I saw a comment about how the club "should cease to exist" from a fùcking Arsenal fan!! Can you believe that garbage?

The Arsenal board is a weird one. There seems to be a big group of polar opposites. I can understand the frustration for many, but it's not that facking bad! You're still one of the top sides in England and Europe. It could be worse.

I think a lot of it is born out of the success that Wenger initially brought you and in the last few years both circumstance and Wenger losing his magic has led to many people going completely insane over it.

Although situations are different I've seen similar things won United fans in regard to our financial position and Fergie. Not as many because we've still been successful but there's still been plenty of spoilt ungrateful fans in our fanbase.

So in a way I understand where you're coming from, albeit different circumstances.

Stuttgart out to Rijeka

Feyenoord out.

Spartak Moscow out to St. Gallen.

Braga out to....who???? Pandurii???? WTF are they?

All 3 Spanish sides through, both Seville sides easily, 6-0 and 0-5 on the night, and Swansea despite a 2-1 defeat.

Udinese also went out tonight.

Good luck with Juve, IOAG. Pirlo is gonna run things.
Sociedad will be tough. We should have enough for them, though.

Real Madrid vs Juventus is going to be an excellent game, it will be particularly interesting as a measure of Conte as a manager, because Ancelotti was undoubtedly one of the best managers in Serie A with Milan.

The midfield battle is going to be brilliant- Juve's three of Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio is arguably one of the best in football, and Real Madrid have an embarrassment of riches there too.

Spanish clubs are in such a massive position when they get to the knockout because they know they can avoid their own clubs in the last-sixteen. That is so important for clubs like Malaga last season, and both Atletico and Real Sociedad this season; it gives them a great chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

Atletico could be dark horses- because if they finish top then they immediately miss out on: Bayern Munich, Dortmund (likely to top their group), PSG, Chelsea and Man Utd, not to mention being unable to draw Barcelona and Real Madrid.

They've still got the possibility of: Benfica, Man City, Juventus, Milan, Arsenal and Schalke.

However, all they would have to do would be to avoid Juventus and Man City- because you look at the other four and I'd say Atletico could be beating them. Then you're where Malaga were last season, and as good a job as Pellegrini did with Malaga, they did not have as much talent as this Atletico side do now.
