Yeah true. Though funnily enough the reaction has not been as bitter as with Spain and Barcelona, despite a longer period of dominance in this country.

I'm a tolerant type RedCog. Xiu generally runs off when I turn up because he has no answer for coherent thinking.

Excuse me, but I know quite a few Catalans who I dearly appreciate, I used to travel there quite often both for work and to visit my sister, who live in barna for over a decade. You represent yourself and arguably a sizeable number of others, but they don't all hold your opinions. If I said you run off, it's because that seems to have been the case whenever I've tried to engage in sensible discussion with you.

You seem to have a great deal of misconceptions regarding (the rest of) Spain and somewhat insultingly tarnish everybody with the same brush. As an example, you seem to have trouble telling Fascist Spain (both past and present) from the rest, as if it were the overwhelming majority, and as a result insult people who beyond their place of birth or sense of identity, live, breathe and shít just like you do. You seem to feel this is totally justified and have never seemed to even contemplate the possibility of apologising for this, and it makes you come across as being every bit as Fascist (not in a political sense, but as regards your attitude to others) as those you appear to hate. A Catalan Fascist, but otherwise no different.

Note: all this said with the utmost respect for your sense of identity and political ideas and from somebody whose ideal world is one where we all understand each other, tolerate our differences and who believes in the principle that everyone and every people should be free to choose their identity and the path they wish to follow in life.
