Arsenal fans always think whoever they're linked with are great.

khedira has always played better for germany than madrid
that said brazil were so bad they made him look like maradona and pele rolled into one
decent player sure
but he aint that good
i'd sell him for £25M if the offer came in

Why flog him for £25M knowing David Luiz just fetched £40-50M? £25M should be just about enough to get us to pick the phone up.
Wumpy, I think Sánchez needs to go somewhere where he can be the main man and express his football more freely. If Arsene gives him that, he'll be a success. If he castrates him like he has Cazorla, then you won't be much better off than you are now.
25m? For someone with one year left on his contract? How about 5m plus Arteta payable in installments for 5 years?
Seriously I think around 17m should be enough to get him.

Really good point there! I have to say though that no one has castrated Cazorla. Also, aren't you the same person who has been telling me all this time that Cazorla cannot really be the main man for the team? For Sanchez though, you do raise a very good point! We need to make him our main attacking outlet to get the best out of him.
I was joking with the Santi comparisons Wump.
Just read that LvG has claimed it was he who taught Romero how to save penalties. Glory hunter?
I thought it was one of your silly attempts to defend Cazorla.
Wasn't LVG the same guy who talk Xavi and Iniesta how to pass a footie?
Sneijder recons Argentina don't deserve to be in the final because they were playing for pens. Maybe I was watching a different game but I am pretty sure they offered absolutely nothing offensively until the final minutes of the 90! God, I am glad those guys are out!
I'm glad they're out too. Just hoping Argentina somehow win the title and it isn't thanks to Messi.
Argentina winning it is actually bad for me in the predo competition. I need Germany to win it. Currently in second place but could fall to 10th if Argentina win it.
As mentioned a week ago Jonathan Dos Santos is joining Villarreal- that has now been confirmed.
Mexicorreal.
Now just Hernandez.
Also Mandzukic to Atlético has been confirmed for about £18m.
Wenger should have gone for Madzukic IMO. Giroud is painfully average.
Sanchez will play through middle maybe? Always wanted to see what he could do there. Him and Walcott in same side would be frightening on counter.

Yes, but they are both Lilliputian? Arsenal are hardly blessed with height in their first eleven as it is.
They could end up with the exact same problem Pep's Barça and the Spain national side had.
I honestly reckon Giroud will be their main striker again next season.

I think so too. With Arsene splashing on Alexis and Arsenal squad overloaded in certain positions ( even more than us), i don't see him spending silly money on a top-of-the-line forward.
The thing is: Giroud is awful. Arsene would be better off trying to get a cheapish forward in Remy/Bony etc
Yeah I agree. Wenger is stubborn, though. In Giroud's defence I think having two runners like Walcott and Sanchez either side of him should help him. His link up play is ok and with those two in the side it'll occupy more defenders.
Cazorla and Rosicky out wide are much deeper than Sanchez, and easier to defend against, so teams can just congest the middle and make Giroud's hold up play redundant because there's no threat in behind from other players, bar Ramsey.
He's still crap striker, though, but I can see what Wenger might be trying to do. Whether it works remains to be seen as there's a lot of weaknesses that stop them really being champions and going far in the CL.
