I was always Giggs or Beckham, mostly both where I'd be kicking the ball at the wall. One of them would then invariably pass to me, where I would win the CL for United. While I had Clive Tyldseley style commentary playing in my head.

"Beckham, lovely pass to Giggs with the through ball to Jay, who hits it first time! Oh my word, that's straight in to the top corner and Jay has won the Champion's League for United!"

Pfft, I always did the shirt over my face celebration, well, until I saw 2 of my team mates run head first in to each other while they had their shirts over their faces

I shouldn't laugh, one of them broke their nose! But that was enough to get me to just do the "Beckham vs Wimbledon" celebration.

Maradona. Which, come to think of it, probably explains a lot.

Viduka was THE Aussie legend of the 90's/2000's.

Harry Kewell was always thought of as a bit of a girl.

But seriously, I dunno about the backwards world of Cambridge but when I was at school everyone looked up to Le Tissier. The guy was such a legend.

Yeah, when playing headers and volleys we all used to shout 'Hughesy' when smashing volleys in!
