Yeah, when playing headers and volleys we all used to shout 'Aloisi' when smashing volleys over the bar

ive changed it for you
Teddy Sheringham and Darren Anderton.
I modeled my football on Teddy, facsinated by him I would just watch him all the time and not watch the rest of the game, just focused on Teddy then went home and practised the things I had seen him do over and over and over and over again.
I always idolised Big Pete and Giggs. The reason I am two footed is because I spent about 4 years of my youth trying to be left footed like Giggs
and Darren Anderton

we had a kid like that, could never finish a game without going home injured

John Barnes. Even learnt to play with my left foot to be more like him.

So, how many of us broke greenhouses/windows/doors/faces with a Beckham-esque freekick that wasn't quite perfect?
Zvonimir Boban and / or Robert Prosinecki
John Barnes but now Spearing
Bobby Moore.Gordon Banks.Roger Hunt.
Jay too many
Although it taught me to be more precise with my free kicks.
I used to have a bin at the bottom of the garden and constantly aimed to curl it in to that. Oh those were the days
Did anyone play kerbsies?
Where you had two people standing either end of the road and threw a football at the kerb edge?
Or was that just me and my mate
Shamefully, and I hate to admit this because I'll probably get caned
Paul Merson
kerbsie
And Wembley doubles, singles, killer, wallball, headers and volleys
i played kerbsie
---------------------------------------------------------------
Paul, is that you?
Yeah Robb, we used to do more points for different throws. Like it was 10 or something for a normal throw, a football throw was like 15, throwing it behind you was like 50, and over an oncoming car was 100. Kicking it was like 40 or something too.
Then if you hit it, you got to move to the middle of the road, and each throw was worth half, and if you caught it, you got another go. But, if your mate caught it, and then threw it at you before you could get back to your side, you lost all your points.
We used to play a lot of doubles at school, I was a top quality keeper Mostly I was put in goal because I was the only one stupid enough to do flying saves to the top corner on concrete.
Wembley singles, I used to goal hang! wait for the rebound,
Breezed my way into the finals, always suggest penaltys!
Win
Jay played the delux version of kerbsies
We only played the shitt, no brainer one
Fack me Jay, we just hit the kerbs and got a point
I'd be more interested to know if anyone here HASN'T smashed something in one of the aforementioned categories.
But if it's about lack of skill, mine might make me one of the youngest ja606ers to have sustained a serious football injury. Wasn't even two when I broke my thigh bone playing (trying to play) footy. Had to spend two months in hospital with both legs in traction. Fortunately I've got no recollection of it myself.
