What I want to know is this

Jungle created Jinky on the old BBC606, the name etc he used is the same as an old guy that died on Jersey round about the same time

How is this explained?

Doesnt seem to say he wanted to attend the nights out though as he did attend I guess that was part of it.

I did say it was because he wanted to attend nights out.

That would be a reasonable guess though. I think he just wanted a character that wasnt a 70 year old man so he could relate more easily to the posters closer to his age group. Maybe the social aspect of nights out fueled that slightly.
