What's your opinion on Rahat A14?

Seems like a nothing type of a bowler. Just your equivalent of an average English county bowler. I'm sure he'd do a decent job in bowler friendly conditions, but his inclusion shows we are desperately short of bowlers.

Gully should be back for Saffers series, but his recent test record isn't impressive either.

Watching Rahat now tell's me he isn't going to make it. On one side Junaid is causing all sorts of problems and on the other side Rahat is bowling far too wide and not making the batsman play. He got lucky in SA where he got cheap wickets when RSA were looking to declare and he ended up with 6 but in truth like you said he is a nothing bowler.

I'd still prefer Gully over him. We still have Irfan but who else is there after that?

Doesn't look like there are many youngsters coming through on thd bowling front. Saying that, amir is back next year so we won't need any fast or spin bowlers, such is the regard I hold for the young chap

He won't be the same player. There is talk that he has put on weight and that rhythm he had 3 years ago is all gone. When the ban is lifted he will need to spend a year or two in domestic cricket.

Can someone explain to me why Junaid is now bowling his 23rd over of the day? With only one genuine bowler vs the saffers next month, how wise is misbah being my over-bowling him….. when ajjy and rehman were taking wickets, he had an opportunity to bring hafeez on for abit and give junaid a rest….instead hafeez only got two overs!!!!

Don’t be surprised if Junaid is “injured” for the saffers series….madness!!!
