We've been there done that. the pcb needs a complete overhaul - the majority of managers and decision makers need firing.

Not possible to offend us on this one mate.. Most of Paks fans have been critical of the team since the squad was selected and this was an accident waiting to happen........ Zimbabwe played the better cricket over the 5 days. Credit where it's due end of the day

In the end we did well to draw 1-1. That's how bad we have been. Out of 10 days of test we dominated in 2.

Like A14 said our mentality is awful. This comes from the manager and skipper who are obsessed with safety first cricket. I think being ranked 4th really flattered us and 6th is about right.

Ever since the first ODI which we lost (which I didn't watch), I didn't watch anything of this series. Always knew it'd be the same old sameold.

Yeah, has to be khan tests and Afridi ODIS in my opinion. Hafeez doesn't deserve a place in the test team and hardly warrants it in the ODI format either

Pcb met yesterday. Rumours coming out are:


1. PCB considering to appoint YK as Test and ODI captain again.
2. Mohammad Hafeez to be retained as T20 Captain, Could be axed from the Test team.
3. Hafeez and Shafiq are expected to be dropped for the SA series.
4. Farhat, Taufeeq, Sohaib Maqsood, Harris and Amin to make the squad against SA.
5. Malik expected to make a comeback in the T20 squad vs Saffers

umer amin is decent imo should be in the squad

heard about younis khan being appointed as test captain also

Agree with you about umar Amin, should defo be in test team - has the temperament for it, despite his shocker in England in 2010.

Younis for tests is ideal. Not so sure about ODIS though. Still, I'd rather have younis back in ODI team as captain than misbah being captain.... Can't really blame the selectors here, they'd have preferred to give it to hafeez but he's messed up big time!!!

Younis for the short term, with a view to pass onto umar Akmal after he's had a good run in the team and also works on his attitude and ability.

I don't want him back for one dayers. Having him and Misbah in the same team means we will struggle to chase and set up big scores. Happy to see him as test skipper but keep him away from the one dayers.

T20 is his level and in one dayers he should be nothing more than a lower middle order batsman. Test cricket is NOT for him.

Harsh on Shafiq but he was terrible against Zimbabwe.

Farhat = FFS How many times will we see this trash. He ALWAYS lets us down.
Taufeeq = Good call, has a good record against SA and was bizzare why he was ever dropped.
Maqsood - This guy is a PCB inside job. Has a average domestic record and looks like he's related to someone on the board.
Harris and Amin - Yeah why not although neither have set the world alite with their one day performances.
