Waaaaah! Mr Davies won't speak to me! Waaaah! I'm a really important journalist! Waaah!
What. A. Numpty.
Worst bit of journalism I think I have ever read. he isn't even trying not to be biased. Seriously I think some of the derby lot on these board would have done a better job.
I think the comment by 'Quest of the Blatant Beast' at the bottom of the article sums it up.
I like how he tries to make out we have a team full of huge, meaty, rough players! We have one of the smallest teams in the division!
Except Raddy and Reidy the giants though of course!

Bless, must have been tough times whilst working at the 'workshop guardian' and the 'echo'
Hmmm... Hemel Hempstead... Is that near Watford?
Wow, some people on here are getting really paranoid.
The Press has always been Londoncentric - get used to it. But for every John Percy, there is a Daniel Taylor or Richard Williams. Stop reading the Telegraph (do you also read the Mail).
Our wonderful PR department (Davies and Price) when faced with a rickety bridge across the chasm called Public Relations decided to knock down the bridge and build a wall. The next step is to rename "Forest Player" to "Forest Pravda" - 'differing opinions will not be tolerated'
Hopefully, over the next seven days they will do a better job of selling the club to the striker we need.
Red for 50
"Stop reading the Telegraph (do you also read the Mail)."
Wow, Webbo is not going to pleased about that..

Well said Redfor50yrs. If people read papers renowned for shoddy journalism, then they'll find shoddy articles. Read a decent blooming paper. The idea that the press has got it in for us is ludicrous.
I'm with Davies on this one.
We, as fans, are still getting our snippets. Yesterday, the thin looking Irish chap gave an interview at the end of the game to TV and we are seeing Davies on EMT. Players too.
Let's not forget their job is to get Forest promoted.
Stuff the tabloids. Only white van man reads them nowadays anyway don't they?
Long may this stance last. It's the results that matter and the manager and his team are doing their upmost to deliver.
OR.....
What are you saying?
Whist I agree with you SHH that there's not some conspiracy against us - that indeed is tinfoil. I infant, read the OP thinking that but that telegraph article was amateur, to say the least.
i have been saying for years the press do not like forest or any of the east midlands clubs.
As a Derby fan I have to agree with MBD (mediocre billy davies) about the bias in this article. Is it about the reluctance of Billy Davies to talk to the press so the journalist is having a mardy? Is it because London based journalists have an innate antipathy to provincial teams? During our last promotion season under Billy Davies there were similar reports but as there were no London teams in the promotion hunt, nothing as biased as this.
They all want 'Arry to succeed despite he is putting out a team whose turnover is only a fraction of their wage bill even with parachute payments. They seem to like Watford despite the fact they have blatantly cheated again to get round their transfer embargo. Yesterday I was in that horrible position of wanting Forest to win.
''Ah but surely the Forest bubble will burst''
Bob Wilson late 1977. Nothing changes
"Yesterday I was in that horrible position of wanting Forest to win."
Nice one, Spart.
Had you down as a closet...
In fact scientists say it's better for your health.
However what is this 'MBD'?
Does the monicker 'NLN' grate so much that you used all your 'creative juices' to come up with that?
Bless.
With those skills I'd say a job at the telegraph is imminent.
Read a better paper, encounter better journalism. Easy.
Billy's employed to do a job for NFFC, not the London-centric media.
Anybody who saw yesterday's game would have seen a fantastic display (and result) by the Reds.
Quite happy with the way he and the club are conducting themselves.
I understand but disagree SHH. I read several news feeds, often... and purposely see shiite I don't necessarily agree with.
In these times, your tastes are being tailored TOO much and a challenge is always good.
Off topic, a little (ie footy) but this vid sums it up.

The Telegraph is a pile of poo but I didn't think the article was that bad. It's certainly more focussed on Watford than us and you can sense some disdain for Davies refusing to do interviews but I don't think they all have it in for us.
What's a better paper Mr happy?
Also it's SBD get it right sheepies!
Plus I can see what Billy and the media are doing here. Billy is doing this again to create an us against the world attitude and to shift attention from the players to himself to ease the pressure on them. Due to this, the journalists don't like this, they are a bunch of conspirators who like their "sources" to grab as much information no matter how far fetched as they can and then they will spin a story out of it. However no Forest have got rid of their sources and thrown them out they are outraged. Case in point, look at John percy's information drying up and now his hate for Forest and Billy.
Don't worry though we always have Nat!
Scratch that, just send Billy a message on Friday nights.
Also p.s Mr happy, I don't read the telegraph as it's an awful paper i agree with you there.
Another idea is that journalists like Percy, don't like Billy as he has hair and Percy doesn't.
Its' about as factual as that with most paper stories.
Wow journalism is easy!
"Don't worry though we always have Nat!"
SBD, we have ilko, iwas and the rest of the plebs to keep us up to speed.
