Get rid of Damn Review System.
Watson case:the ball hit the outside edge of the Pad, then inside of the bat there, hence the edge on the hotspot.
The correct decision has been wronged.

Completely agree. Watson should be out, should stay with on field decision if in doubt. Hits a four as I type this..

I personally thought Watson wasn't out for the LBW. It didn't look like his bat hit his pad so don't know where the mark came from.

@BOSS,
It doesnt matter now, but here's what happened with watson.
His bat, as you correctly put, didnt hit the pad,it was actual inside edge but the ball had already struck the outside edge of pad first.
If you looked at the hotspot edge, you'd have noticed that the ball had passed the leg before the bat came in view(from sq leg angle), that could mean 3 thing. 1st he got edge on the bat to the pad, 2nd his bat hit the pad and 3rd he got hit on pad and then on bat which is most likely as he got his bat down late.
Personally, i actually saw pad , then bat from front angle and it was a sour taste to see a correct decision overturned.
Would understand if the umpire had originally given not out.

Clarke out - Aussies slowed down.

Hat-trick ball....

Aussies probably have more than enough already.
