Agree Loz bit like fergie did
Although I thought we encouraged our players to dive
Sorry Utd fans but I predict you're going to get a few wrong decisions go against you over the next few games in an attempt to "even it out"
-----------------------------------
So we've already got people talking about "evening it out", conveniently forgetting that we were denied a blatant penalty for a Lampard hand ball against Chelsea a couple of weeks back.

The penalty decision was incorrect, but that wasn't down to a dive. Young was fouled for the penalty. Granted, it should have been a free kick and no red, as opposed to what was given, but that isn't Young's fault....
Everything is Young's fault.
I woke up and stood on a plug this morning, and I blame Ashley Young
The stupid, ugly, smelly
I didn't mean the penalty I meant the dive before that. Maybe I'm bias but everyone could see the penalty started outside the box except the officials who just guessed and got it wrong. The only way to sort out decisions like that when the officials didn't see the incident is to bring in a video referee like rugby
So we've already got people talking about "evening it out", conveniently forgetting that we were denied a blatant penalty for a Lampard hand ball against Chelsea a couple of weeks back.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's not get talking about penalties! If Moxey's handball was a penalty then both John Terry's and Lampards should have been penalties
Maybe I'm bias but everyone could see the penalty started outside the box except the officials who just guessed and got it wrong.
---
Certainly, most United fans agree it was never a penalty. The ref asked for help from his linesman, got nothing. I think in that case, he has to give it as outside the box.
What is it often repeated "If you're not sure, you can't give it".
There's nothing to even out with regards to the dive before that. He was rightly booked.
If Gary Neville's handball against Reading(?) when he was the only player in the box and it bounced up and hit his hand was a penalty then EVERY handball in the box should be a penalty!
On the subject of handballs & punishments. I notice absolutely nothing is being made of Lloris' handball?
I've always been under the impression that if a keeper handles it outside the box, he has to be off
I agree that he dived and was booked so therefore should be end of discussion. However you can tell that refs will treat Young as a diver and they will be less willing to give decisions in your favour. Same thing happened with Gareth Bale last season
I've always been under the impression that if a keeper handles it outside the box, he has to be off
--------------------------------
I've never been under that impression. If it denies a clear goalscoring opportunity then yes, otherwise it's the same as any handball.
Also are Utd ever going to play Zaha?
Your number 44 looked pretty decent though so I'm guessing not any time soon
They play on opposite wings Mon. I'd sooner have seen Zaha playing instead of Valencia yesterday, and Januzaj looked really good when he came on. Infinitely better than the wing play we've seen recently.
Zaha can play either side. He was on the left when he won us the penalty at Wembley.
If Nani has just signed a new contract I would assume he's above Zaha in the pecking order?
Its been building for a while, Ronaldo, Rooney, Drogba, Bale, Suarez, N'gog etc etc. These are just some of the players who have contributed to the scenario now.
---
Ronaldo did dive but he was also hacked to sh it and a lot of the time received nothing from referees so can't blame him to be honest.
Rooney rarely ever dives, once every 10 games I would say.
Divers are Drogba, Suarez, Young and Bale.
Also Ribery.

Haven't read the responses so not sure if this has already been said or not. Young has a reputation for doing it, that's why it's been 'blown up'. Yes there is contact, but only because he sticks his leg out to make sure there is, his natural running direction would have taken him past the defender. It's cheating. Contact was caused by Young who then dives into the air and performs a double pike mid air.
I genuinely think Young is a disgrace to the league and I despise him as a player
Granted, it should have been a free kick and no red,
---------------------------
Of course it's a red if it was deemed a foul
Young was clean through and would definately had a shooting chance
I'd have to see it again, but I'm sure there was a player covering. Young would have been able to shoot, but I don't think it was a clear goal scoring opportunity - hence why I don't think it was a red.
Seriously, why have managers and players and fans all complained about united and penalty decisions especially at old Trafford?
--------------------------------
Yeah right
Let's ingore the fact Young got booked for diving in the area then
who cares, where was the out rage when we were cheated out of the CL?
all i saw was opposition fans laughing. get over it you petty fools.

--------------------------
yeah ok
The fact Young was booked for diving and was then awarded a pen later in the game suggests that isn't correct
It's ingrained in Young's mind now to try and win penalties. If you watch the penalty decision from behind the goal, Young totally changes the direction he runs in to ensure the Palace player collides with him. If he had run towards the ball, no contact would have been made. He's a cheat, and he thankfully has a reputation now that he can not complain with.
Macca the proof I offered up was the players own words, spin it what ever way you want but he admitted ferguson encouraged them to con penalties.
Staams words not mine.

Greg as a chelsea fan I wouldnt say you were cheated, was a very harsh red card though which maybe spoilt the game. And Myself and other fans I know were definately not laughing at utd.
As for young I don't believe it was even a foul on him the second time, I think the player gets side to side with him and at the first contact young starts"tumbling",the player then eventually gets the ball by which point young had fallen with the slightest contact.
The first one was just scandolous. And also people are forgetting evra's dive in the first 10 minutes where he should of been booked.
But what amazes me is as a season ticket holder chelsea fans use to berate drogba for going down to easily, the stretford end seemed to appeal for all 3 dives(imo) and also a "handball" which hit the palace defenders chest.
