I thought he had a decent game. Admittedly he didn't shine. But he was an integral part of our passing game and set up a few very good chances. I think you are getting carried away because you expected him to be outstanding in every single game. Remember he is still finding his feet within the team.

It's his second game, we are away to a decent Marseille outfit and he did a good/okay job. He wasn't brilliant but he wasn't even close to being awful.

Can't be disappointed just because he didn't score a 30 yard screamer or make 5 goal scoring opportunities.

I do not expect ozil to win every game for us by getting 7 assists. All I am saying is that he did look very average today and I don't think it matters that he just joined. You will never see a genuinely world class player jog/walk around the pitch playing simple balls and i really thought we'd signed a world class player.
