Hypocrisy of Spurs fans is entirely relevant. Here some of you are, being all sanctimonious, saying that Torres is a disgrace, he should be banned, etc, etc; whilst forgetting the heinous and savage act of one of your own players.
Ashley Cole diving vs Man Utd. David Luiz laughing after he cheated to get Rafael sent off. Get off your high horse over 'blatant cheating'. I don't like to see it happen at our club and I hope they sort it, as you should at Chelsea.
Again, like before during the Suarez incident, don't blame us, or the player himself
Blame the FA for not banning him
Luiz diving, Ashley Cole diving, Hazard diving, Drogba diving, Torres diving, Hazard kicking ball boys,
Glasses houses and all that
You know, I genuinely think this is the wrong decision, but can sympathise with Chelsea fans. Had it been Soldado who had done this to Ivanovic, he should be banned, and rightly so. Yet I would feel some gross injustice, due to the fact that Aguero got let off last year for doing something equally as poor off the ball to David Luiz.
Basically the FA keep having a shocker.

I never said Chelsea were a bunch of angels, Thudd. Just look to your own before you start attacking others.
About time...
Have a look at the picture of the incident that Thudd put up, and then read your description of it as 'brushing' his face.
Whereas some fans on here are guilty of exaggerating the incident, I think it is fair to say others (you) are guilty of downplaying it. It was nasty, plain and simple.
Defoe should have been banned, so should saurez, so should torres. The fact that the FA are hypocritical cowards is now so annoying that I cannot take them seriously.
Since when did clawing a fellow professional's face become part of the game?

Defoe biting - 2006
Bale diving - 2012/13
Townsend diving - Said sorry to ref and publically - 2013

don't hear you lot complaining at the decisions that go against us
funny how no-one seemed to care when Coloccini got off scot free for kicking Ba in the face last season or whan Aguero got let off for stamping on Luiz

Edin, totally agree. It's not the fact it is a Chelsea player who would be getting banned that is the issue. It's the fact that time and again the FA make a decision, more recently the Suarez 8 game ban. Then follow it up by seemingly overlooking another incident of violent conduct, whether that was Aguero or Torres. The inconsistency is the major issue and they are essentially saying they can't act retrospectively not because of rules of another organisation, but because of their own rules. They are a shambles.
In fact dont post dont click.

Funny, spurs fans weren't so eager to remove all forms of violence from the game when Defoe bit somebody.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jermain Defoe should have been banned for that bite. Try and look at this from an unbiased view point and not just a from a Chelsea perspective. What if the roles had been reversed?
If Suarez facks up again expect his ban to be longer, Torres has zero prior apart from the odd simulation in games, he's an angel in the FA's eyes
by if only
It's fecking Chelsea say no more ....just one question.....what if it had been Suarez ?

Or Barton.
They would have had lengthy bans without doubt.
People have every right to make comment on what happened in the game. But when you start talking about it in a clearly sanctimonious way, as if any of your own players have never done anything even remotely bad before, then you'll encounter reactions like this.
And the whole "incident" has been ridiculously exaggerated.

Again, I agree with you totally, and it was totally out of order, but again the FA are to blame when the evidence is there 100% how can they turn around and say "no ban"
What about the West Ham fans making hissing noises?
What about John Terry?
What about another 100 diving incidents?
get rid of the two bob dinosaurs at the FA and get people who will act and punish those who do wrong

I am looking at it objectively. We see incidents of "handbags" in most games, but most of them are not talked about for days afterwards in the media and on internet forums.
If we start banning players every time they lose their tempers and lash out slightly, then we'll soon find out game lacking sufficient numbers to carry on.
