Nothing to do with not scoring, its the lack of anything else Defoe offers. Soldado's contribution is underestimated, that was pretty obvious today by the lack of shape up front
Fans are blinded by goals
Honestly, you wont believe MOTD. Kos just shoved the guy over, nowhere near the ball. And nothing
They are so unlucky it's unreal
Robin Van Persie is krap.He never scored against Sunlun yesterday
I have no issue with Spurs fans wanting Defoe to start. He had earnt it, but proved why he shouldnt from now on.
AVB needs to have a completely different philosophy at home for most teams. If that means 4-4-2 with pace on the flanks, so be it.
______
It's not so much the formation that's the problem, it's the pace and intensity of the play. Everytime I watch us (especially at home) the build up play is too slow and allows teams to park their bus accordingly

Point is Edin, he hadn't earned it. Scoring goals against poor opposition when there is plenty of space is no indicator of being 'on fire' like some on here seemed to believe.
Grandspurs, you lot are the ones carting off Defoe. It's only a game mate.

RDBD - Spot on. Away from home great, difficult to beat and grinding out results. At home we need more width, creativity. As has been seen over the last 12 months every average to bottom half team are just going to crowd the middle. We need to spread the play and work teams around. If we can all tell you that Siggy and Townsend will cut inside, what are opposing managers going to do.
It isnt his fault the opposition are poor though Vertonghen, it was the only chance he was given and he took it as far as I am concerned

I am not carting him of fI am just pointing out that scpring goals against pub utd does not make somebody a great player
we were outmanaged tactically by big sam.
Total shambles today. I don't think it's possible for us to play worse than today.
Been off work ill for a week and I have to go back in after that.
I'm in shock. Please allow me sufficient time before I issue a statement.

at least you're still above man u
Yeah it wasn't about individuals today. The whole team from the start played like they were asking for a beating. Me thinks the mid-week game took something out a lot of them. No surprise Townsend looked one of the more lively players when he didn't play mid-week.
