Dubbed, don't take this in an offensive way, but....are you English?
He's got more football brain than Walcott, and would probably do better for England too.

No he doesn't. He looks like another Lennon to me. All pace, no end product.
He looks like Lewis Hamilton.
Better than Walcott Remember when the potatoes thought Lennon was better?
If you had actually seen him play you'd realise he's been quite good. Better than most of the other shy te we pretend are valid options for England.

We have seen him play. When Gibbs had him in his pocket and you lost 1-0.
My colleague, a Spurs fan, also thinks he's a headless chicken. I did point out that beating your man is the hard bit, he's young enough to improve.
Who said he was better than Walcott? I said he looks like he has more of a football brain.
And to be fair as useful as Walcott is for Arsenal he's shocking for England.

Spurs fans come along to trash this article.
Well I think he had some good performances recently. Against us for example he troubled our defenders here and there and looked lively. Probably the best Spurs player on that day in the first half.
I dont think he is a headless chicken.

GODDAMMIT ADMIN YOU SAID YOU WOULD FIX THAT
Ahem... if it wasnt for Walcott we might not have qualified for South Africa and wouldnt have got out the group stages in Poland/Ukraine
Useful
to be honest, gibbs did get beat by him rather a lot in the NLD...

He was probably our best player. Not saying much but true.
The one major criticism of him is he's too selfish and shoots too much, though his shots are at least accurate.
"And chamberlain"
Why is this idiot always camped on the Arsenal board? Just sad stuff really.
Bit rich of a Scouser to put down a player who's better than all your players on the wing.

Was that aimed at me?
Who cares if he has a better football brain? The fact of the matter is that Theo is a far more effective player than him. Everything else is really irrelevant.

'Football brain'.. still trotting out that lame media soundbite
How old is Townsend actually?
No GT, it was aimed at my empty post
No matter how hard they tried the admins could never fix you
It's funny how people still dismiss Walcott as a 'headless chicken'.
His general play and decision making has improved by a large margin ever since he joined Arsenal.
More so over the year or so.
You'd know that if you watched Arsenal.
It amazes me that the OP would rather have a go at someone who is up and coming and who does actually look promising. If you want to have a go at players have a go at those who don't add any creativity to England like Milner.
