Sturridge has been great for Liverpool this season- hasn't been great tonight, but no one has been outstanding by any stretch

Didn't you say Lennon was better than Walcott when he has about 3 or 4x the goals as him?

Isn't Aaron Lennon retired?
When he plays he still scores and creates less goals than Walcott
Lennon was pretty good last season to be fair - Spurs missed him when he was out.
Sturridge needs to settle in for England like he does for every team he's played for. Many England fans won't give him the time before they are on his back.
Walcott just doesn't suit the way we play.
At Arsenal you play him in a different position and play to his strengths by getting him in behind.
We don't do this. We give him the ball and expect him to get in behind and make chances but he can't.
We either adapt to Walcott, hard to do without creative players, or we drop him for a more traditional winger that will give us what we need.
Walcott is never played correctly by England. He's rarely running on to through balls like he does at arsenal. They pass to his feet to much for England, therefore taking out a big part of his game.

That says more about Spurs than it does about Lennon, Jay
Are we going to be a top seed if we make the WC? I think we will struggle to get out of the group stages.
ARE, He flew for Liverpool from the start - I hope he plays against Poland though.

The trouble is that every England side that gets announced lately feels like a "B" side. We just don't have the top players
