Stevie G is his best mate. If he said otherwise Stevie G would beat him up lie he beat the DJ up.

I liked his list of Gerrards big game influences.

Gerrard should be sharing a studio with Carragah.

not much between then in their peak

Gerrard was a top player in his peak. But he is very overrated too.
He was never top 5 in his position.

Yes he was. It's not all about technical ability as you'll probably bring up. At his peak Gerrard was top 5 in the world. He could do anything, much like Ramsey now.

No one referred to technical ability here. Don't jump the gun.

Who was in the top 5 then? 2008ish time.
No particular order:
Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Kaka & someone else. Gerrard's not in there though. That's for sure.

around 2005 Lampard and Gerrard were up there with the best, Lampard is the most underrated out of those two and scholes for me.

Lampard was better than Gerrard imo.

Iniesta was not in top 5 in 08...he was injury prone couldn't judge him properly then.

Gerrard in 05 & 06, I thought was top 5. Lampard in 05 came behind ronaldinho for best player in the world, and Gerrard probably deserved to be there too in 06.

DubbEd you hate liverpool id never expect you to be fair, gerrard was a top 5 player in his peak.

Henry and Zidane both stated Gerrard should've got the best in the world award. He would've had he played for a better club. Lack of silverware denied him that. Should've moved to Chelsea when he had the chance.

Iniesta was in the top five; I don't like to use stats either, but I'm only using them to show appearances- 71 games from the start of the 07/08 season until the end of Euro 2008.

He was playing in a badly managed Barcelona team right enough in Rijkaard's final season- was still much better than Gerrard.

Iniesta was definitely in the top 3 in 2008, anyone who thinks otherwise is severely deluded.

Were you watching footy when Scholes was in his prime, Dubbed?

posted on 12/10/13

Scholes >>>>>>>>> Gerrard >>>> Lampard

posted on 12/10/13

Pretty sure Iniesta was injury prone in 08, before pep took over that is.

posted on 12/10/13

He's always been injury prone...

He's been one of the best in the world since 2007

posted on 12/10/13

He missed seven games in November and December, but played the other ten months in the year and was magical at the Euros.

Yes.
Seeing as I'm older than you and you were what 10 at the time, don't think you should be speaking.

Did you manage to catch Pires in his prime Dubbed? He was an unreal right back. So good.

Not bitter at all being thumped around on that other thread.

Spout your false drivel on that thread. Don't ruin yet another thread.

You used the word 'thread' 3 times there. Paranoid about something? Don't fear me Dubbed, I've already wiped the floor with you enough for now.
