I'd have to agree, Kam. Even though Del Piero was class.
Totti > Del Piero

Baggio > Totti > Del Piero
Totti vs Del Piero is a never ending debate in Italy. It's their Gerrard vs Lampard
Spot on, Sheriff.
The Divine Ponytail.
Italy are famed for their defenders but they've had some unbelievable attackers.
Guys, how good was Henry? Only started following football recently. Was he a defender?

Henry was a pretty decent lad. Could hold the ball up decently and contribute a few goals when he can. A bit like Heskey. Both Premier League legends.
Gerrard has far more to his game and reached a higher level in his peak.

No, Scholes was superior in almost all technical and mental aspects.
Scholes was a cut above Gerrard, just like Gerrard is/was a cut above Lampard
Totti is just missing that big moment, should have been the Euro 2000 final.
He was better at Juve.
-----------------------------------
Yeah, he wasDarren. He really did rip up the league from the left flank. He was sold cos he was making his Juve teammates look bad. The cheek of the little caant.

Lampard is better than Gerrard, imo. Gerrard just has a little extra athleticism.
Platini> Zidane=Xavi>Iniesta>Scholes>Lampard>Gerrard>
For Xavi and Iniesta I mean Xavi's prime, I accept Iniesta is better now.
Totti played a class backheel in the build up to the goal in Euro 2000 final.
I do agree he somewhat flattered to deceive on the international stage, though, although he was still good, he could have been great.
I think he was a victim of his versatility like so many players often are at international level.

What I meant was that France stole the occasion from him, I thought he had a great, career defining game which should have led to winning the game.
Hate to say it because he has extended his contract, but if he has a great season- and he has so far for Roma- and they win something this season he should go out on a high.
I did not anticipate Roma's spectacular start to the season.
Yeah I know.
I do think that Totti's love for Roma robbed us of seeing an even better player (although whether he'd have played for another shirt like he has Roma is a debatable point), as despite being awesome Roma have never been one of the elite teams in Europe and I think Totti needed that stage - as he hasn't I think he's quite underrated in this country.
I suppose you could say the same about Gerrard. But Liverpool were a better team for the most part than Roma have been, especially in Europe.
