In all honesty Giroud was shít last season and deserved criticism. His suspension was a blessing in disguise. But his performances did not warrant that kind of hatred.

for a first season he gave us a decent amount back imo

17 goals and a similar amount of stats i believe (like 13 or something). thats good for a first season.

my only criticism is that hes more like a flat track bully. he scored a lot vs the lesser teams but never enough winning goals vs the top teams.

this season he needs to get 20+ goals and score more vs the bigger teams

Giroud was poor against the big teams, good against the lesser teams

this means he was average last season.

You always have to look at a bigger picture, Wilshere. Under the circumstancies he played all in all well in his first season. He lost a bit confidence right at the beginning of the season when he missed to score and always had the shade of RVP in his back. Confidence is the first thing I striker need apart from healths or do you think playing like this at the moment is coming over night?

To have some doubts over the direction of the club is not a problem, Wilshere. I myself said that if we wont spend big this time I dont know if Wenger is the right man to lead us in the future. I was 100% sure that we would spend allthough I run out of patience in the end and yes....I doubted he would.

The problem is how do you express you impatience.
