Dunk's turned over a new leaf apparently.

We don't need to sign anybody. We need a manager who knows how to play possession football.

As if Gundogan is gonna leave a superior team for us unless we splash at least 40m on him which we wont.

My ideal signings would be Mohammed Diame or Steven Nzonzi.
People may take a mick at this but these two are very underrated players and are far better defensive mid fielders than anyone we have.

Also if Montpellier are offerring I ll have Cabella for 18m.
Good player and within our budget.

I havent seen much of Nzonzi but I wanted Diame this summer. A better player than Fellaini and would've cost a fraction of the price. He's literally the closest thing in this league to Yaya Toure.

Now that we do have Fellaini though, i'm not sure. I think we need a different type of player.

Managers and coaches influence around 80% of the way a team plays. The more talented the player is, the better a player can execute the way they play.

Just look at Everton now as a very good example. Their team was one of the most negative under Moyes last year. Very little possession football, more set-pieces and long ball football. Now under Martinez, in the space of a summer, has transformed them into a team that can out pass teams with pretty much the same players they had last year.

Didn't do anything this week, my mate is moving house, so had to get a van from work and help him move.

Steven Nzonzi

Nzonzi is feckin shít wayne.

awful at blackburn in the year they went down, and the fact he ended up at stoke should show you his ability isnt up there, otherwise he would have signed for a bigger club.

The closest thing to Yaya Toure in the league is Paulinho. Absolutely cracking player and the more I see him the more I feel like crying.

Diame is a beast too

I am not saying he is a Keane or something but he is a far better "defensive midfielder" than Fellaini. (God I sound like robb ).

i will agree with you about paulinho though, looked very good for brazil in the summer too.

as for Diame, doesnt he have a history regarding health problems??

No idea.

Paulinho is yet another midfielder that will look poor in our set up. This 442 issue whereby Rooney is cemented up top is far bigger than a matter of "Paulinho or Diame is better than Fellaini." Like I said, Xavi would look like a prat in our midfield.

im sure he does, i think someone was looking at him before he went to west ham, but he has a history of heart trouble.

I think there were question marks over his heart at one point, which put a lot of clubs off in the aftermath of the Muamba incident. Dont know if there was any official diagnosis in the end though.

Forget Brazil for a moment, he has been Spurs' best player this season for me.
Got everything in his locker.
Look at their mid field options
Dembele
Sandro
Capoue
Paulinho

Wtf are you mumbling about.
Paulinho is a perfect player for a 4-4-2 set up.
He is a tough tackling box to box mid fielder who can get forward and chip in with goals too.
He would be perfect alongside Carrick.
