trs, did Moyes bring his U21 coaching staff with him or are they saf staff?
i hope so but moyes clearly does not rate him at the moment seeing as he hasnt played him at all
-----------------------------------------
I'm sure he does rate him nan, otherwise why would he get so much game-time in pre-season?
Maybe it's Moyes thinking he's not ready more than him not rating Zaha, which I totally disagree with.
Warren Joyce and Paul McGuinness are still the U21 and U18 coaches respectively.
Nicky Butt is with the U19s.
United have plenty of space to run into over on the left hand side. A lot of our attacks are coming down that side.
Lawrence almost creates a space to get a shot away in the box but Williams makes a really good well-timed challenge.

hmm
but what i dont understand is why not let him go on loan if he knew he wouldnt play him. zaha has basically wasted half a season thanks to moyes
Fabio again down the left hand side finds Anderson on the edge of the box but his shot is blocked by Hibbert.
Anderson forces his way into the box, holding off Hibbert and tries to pick out Will Keane but gets too much on the pass.
United knocking the ball about much better now than they were at the start of the game.
Will Keane flashes a shot just wide of the near post after a nice touch into him from Lawrence on the edge of the area.
Cole should have hit the target with that one.
A few chances coming United's way but have yet to take one.
lawrence dosen't look at this level yet
Not sure what the Everton keeper was doing there but he passes the ball straight to Lawrence who hits the side netting. The Everton keeper maybe just doing enough to put him off.
Lawrence at the end of last season was excellent for the U21s.
He's one of the U21s who deserves more game-time.
What about that for a touch from Keane.
Kills the pass from out wide and forces the keeper into a good save with his second touch.
Fabio doesn't make the most of a free-kick, left of centre. His shot goes over the bar.
Brilliant ball played over the top of United's defence but Michael Keane takes care of the danger.
Shortly after Amos is forced into making a good save and tipping th shot our for a corner.
Better spell for Everton.
Much better effort from Cole in a central position. His shot was curling away into the corner but the keeper gets hands to it and tips it out for a corner.
HT: Everton 0-0 United
Cole loves to shoot on target doesn't he?
Lots of good attacking play from United especially in the wide areas and from the full-backs but have failed to take any of their chances.
Both keepers have been called into action making one or two good saves each.
United became more dominant as the game went on but Everton pose a threat on the break.
I've said this after every U21 game of late I think but Will Keane is getting better and better.
Touch, movement and sharpness all looking very good.
Reece James does very well to anticipate and win the ball of an Everton defender and forces the keeper into a save but it would've had to have been some effort to beat the keeper from that position.
