Everton just getting on top here. Good spell of pressure.
Will Keane looked to have been in there but the Everton players looks to have made a good challenge. No complaints from Keane anyway.
On looking at the replay, the player got nothing of the ball.
Ekangamene gives away another foul in a very dangerous position about 25 yards out from goal.
The shot is hit under the wall but Amos saves comfortably.
It may only be U21 level but some of Anderson's passing tonight has been glorious.
Anderson goes off and Blackett comes on.
Michael Keane coming forward into midfield plays a nice pass into Will but his touch this time just lets him down.
Ekanagemene's foul count is stacking up.

....................
This is what pees me off. He does have the ability. He just needs to be in a run of games. Stop / start is just no use for him.
I don't care what anyone says, he is a much better option to partner Carrick than Fellaini.

He's awful.
I haven't watched the game tonight but the fact he's playing U 21 football and he's not been injured speaks volumes.
Give up guys.....he's not guna make it. He's not good enough.

Relax SE85.
I've only stated how good some of his long passing had been tonight, nothing else.
What a save by Amos with an outstretched leg to force a shot onto the post.
United having defend a lot now with Michael Keane and Thorpe making a few good clearing headers from crosses.
Will Keane is denied at the far post by the Everton keeper who gets down low and pushes the shot out for a corner.
It's been one of the more entertaining 0-0s I've seen I'll tell you that.
He's playing against kids. He should be doing well.
It's his 7th season and he's playing reserve team football and not played for his country since 2008.
He's been a unmitigated disaster of a signing. Time he was moved on.
James Weir has replaced Tom Lawrence.
Everton hit the post again with a great strike from Long who's had a very good 2nd half. He's been very dangerous.
Considering Weir is playing tonight, he won't be in the U19 squad for Wednesday. His place will probably be taken by new signing Saido Janko.
Another excellent challenge by Michael Keane. Defended very well tonight.
A cross from Everton's right side is hit into the ground and it bounces wide.
Fortunately for United he didn't get a better connection or it could've been 1-0.
United put together their best move of the half with Varela getting in behind the Everton defence for the first time this half from Weir's pass but loses control of the ball in the box.
2 minutes of added time.
FT: Everton 0-0 United
Excellent game of football. Very competitive.
United dominated the first half but the 2nd half was well and truly Everton's.
Some brilliant goalkeeping from Amos and good defending from Keane and Thorpe coupled with a bit of luck made sure United didn't lose that game
Interesting that Ando played
Must be a livener for something
Maybe he's in Moyes mind for the weekend
