Blaise Matuidi is out of contract this summer, could be a great bargain
players out of contract this summer who'd be great signings for United IMO
Matuidi- PSG
Fernando- Porto
Sebastien Rode- Frankfurt
Xabi Alonso is still out of contract.
Also Raul Garcia of Atlético Madrid too.
Mex
I've often thought this myself about Fernando from Porto especially.
If I remember correctly, wasn't he one of Porto's best players when they played against us in 2009?
dont think either would be right for United though Henke, we've got Carrick for the Alonso/Garcia position
Probably not, was just stating for anyone really- apart from Lewa' who's definitely going to Bayern, then Alonso is probably best player I can think of who's out of contract at the moment.
Spain and Germany you can always find young talent that has played at the top for quite some time so have some experience to their name.
Dutch League also has some cracking youngsters.
However none of the top teams in the league really have an old age squad that needs massive short term attention. They all just need time to gel.
Ignazio Abate's out of contract in the Summer.
I think Biram Diouf could prove to be a real bargain (also out of contract in the Summer), but reports suggest Dortmund are looking to get him to replace Lewandowski.
Biram Diouf? Do you think he's at anything like the level of Lewandowski?
think Dortmund might go for Kevin Volland
Porto can ge these players due to minimal work permits.
Firminio was the best player in Bundesliga this season before his injury.

Well I think work permit regulations are an utter farce as anyone going to the UK to be employed as a professional football player is clearly going to earn thousands of pounds a week and should simply be permitted to work in the country.
The difference in work permit regulations across the Europe is another massive failing in UEFA's FFP experiment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure it has anything to do with UEFA but more to each government body from individual country, in this matter the English FA.
I guess they have to follow the rules set by the government but they should realise that the all rest of Europe is taking advantage of it and doesn't to any favour to the PL.
To be honest, I haven't really seen enough of him to say, but his record for a mid-table Hannover side looks very impressive.
I always thought he looked like a handful when he was at United (and on-loan to Blackburn): strong, quick - in fact, stats suggest he's one of the fastest in the Bundesliga - and willing to run the channels.
If, as it seems, he's added a final product to his game, then he could be a very dangerous striker.
Volland I doubt will be with Hoffenheim for too long that is if course he doesn't want to leave but I'm sure he has his admirers and I think he'd fit in very well with Dortmund's style of play seeing as he can play anywhere up front, he's very energetic, isn't bad technically and is a huge goal-threat. He's also still very young. With more experience it wouldn't be a surprise to see him lining up in a yellow shirt in the future.

what confuses me is they wont allow footballers in to earn a living, but they'll let imigrants in and pay for them to stay... but thats probably a whole different article.
============
Who pays for immigrants to stay Dunc? I'm curious
not got a problem with any one coming into the country if they want to work, i just have an issue with those that sit at home scratching their áss, while i have to sit on 606 all day getting paid
Oh! I see, was a bit confused about who was doing the payments.
You do realise that there's a higher percentage of immigrants that work than brits that work? So it's a bit unfair to tarnish, good, hard, working people with your propaganda
On a separate note, we need to do something about EU migration, facking hell, I feel like a foreigner in London
