^ Well that's clearly not true.

Ibrahimovic is a class striker. The only player I may possibly have ahead of him is van Persie, but he's not miles ahead of the likes of Aguero, Tevez, Falcao, Rooney etc, as some may suggest.

did you mean me Samir?

That was in response to Analog. Not having a dig btw Analog. Just think that saying ''no-one comes close'' isn't true. Ibrahimovic is better than the vast majority of strikers, but isn't miles ahead of the aforementioned names.

That doesn't still dismiss the fact that he is the best striker on the planet

He is a couple of classes above every other striker. He has been doing this consistently for 10 years. RVP has what, 3 years at the top?

And he scores a wider range of spectactular goals than ANY player, past or present.

posted on 23/10/13

On his day like tonight no one comes close. But he had always lacked that consistency in later stages ofCL games.

Its true, consistently lacking in that respect. But because he has not played in the premiership people see that as a necessity (not you but 'people' ).

To them I ask what has Aguero, RVP, Rooney etc done in those stages? Not more than Zlat that's for sure

Rooney has scored in and won Champions League finals.

I'm sorry, but simply looking at the clubs Zlatan has played for and the things he's won (it's something silly like 10 titles in 11 years) shows just how good he is. And he's something we have never seen before. A 6ft 5 strong, fast, acrobatic powerhouse with a rocket shot. He is the complete striker

posted on 23/10/13

The way he struck the ball tonight for the third was outrageous it bent like thirty degrees in a millisecond about half way through its trajectory, unreal strike.

I've seen him live three times luckily enough and he's a beast and when he's bothered he's incredible, not really into saying this player or that player is best but can't see why anyone would say ibra is overrated he's pure quality.

The Wizard of Öz

Well Rooney only scored against chelsea.

Rooney couldn't play in London let alone all over Europe.

Wish he would come to the PL. Imagine him infront of Ozil and Cazorlaaaaaaaaaaaahh

Who's comparing Zlatan to RVP? Not even close. He's easily better than RVP. And easily better than Rooney too.

posted on 23/10/13

The thing with Zlatan is, there is no doubt that he could come to England and do just as well, if not better.

He is a mixture of Rooney and Drogba. If he was motivated by the right manager he would be top scorer in the league quite easily.

This is what I have an issue with. People who act as if the likes of RVP or Rooney aren't fit to lace Ibra's boots. Ibrahmiovic is better than Rooney. Arguably better than van Persie. But he is not streets ahead of either. Idiotic to suggest otherwise.

It's not arguable for me. He's easily better than Rooney and Rvp. And I'm a fan of both. You get a bit too agitated when you disagree with people. Saying he's easily better than both doesn't mean he's streets ahead or that they aren't fit to lace his boots. That's your interpretation of my comment but it certainly wasn't what I meant.

Not streets ahead. Just a few houses and maybe the local
