Riberry should win it imo. He may non be skillful as messi or ronaldo but he is a major component in an all conquering Bayern team. Winning the CL etc has a great influence in deciding individual awards and rightly so. Great players can accumulate ridiculous goals/assists when thrashing weak teams when the whole team is set up to boost the player stats. Its much more difficult to constantly perform in crunch matches to win trophies.
If it is between messi and ronaldo, ronaldo should win it hands down. His stats this year are superior in all competitions and head to heads. If they award it to Messi again then the whole 'Ballon D'Or' is a total farce imo
