You do not have Covid under any kind of control. The UK is one of the worst in Europe currently.

As i said under better control but not the best. Other options - Dublin etc couldn't guarantee safety of fans' health as good as Wembley. Plus it's Wembley - a world iconic stadium for football/big events.

Only Russia, with a population over twice that of the UK, had more Covid cases lately, and nowhere near twice the population. Germany has seen 1/23 the number of cases that the UK has. France has 1/11th.

Britain has no kind of control of the virus whatsoever. You only have vibes down the pub.

I agree that theoretically Britain has great sporting infrastructure. I was literally the first to point that out here. As Constantinople says, the UK government got overly cocky after the vaccine rollout. The UK has the 5th most cases in the world at the moment. It does not have the 5th largest population.
