ignored the ref, if you actually watch the game youd know this ref isnt taking any crap today

Ref should have shown two yellows, but overall the correct outcome. It was a yellow card tackle and then blatant dissent. Not sure why some have an issue with it.

Neither should be red

biggest issue I have with these if that there's literally no reason for the player to be near the ref anyone - he can book him from 20 yards away from him anyway

some refs just go on blatant ego trips

actually think this Dutch ref is extremely biased against the spanish team

should never have a dutch ref for an english v spanish team

will favour the english bigtime

The referee is allowed to talk to the player, the amount of disrespect to football referees compared to other sports is ridiculous

A few minutes before the red card, ref wanted to speak to Mane. He ran over to the right wing to speak to Mane. Could he not do the same to the Atletico player?
