Not sure. I was a bit drunk whilst watching it. He didn't seem to be that bad. I watched it with a group of Bolton fans, who absolutely hate anything United. If he'd have been that bad they would have said plenty.

It was a reasonably good performance but still feel gutted after last night, losing the first game in the world cup/euros hurts a lot. Game against Uruguay seems a long way away

rooney was poor 4 or 5 for me, provided no cover and gave the ball away on numerous times.

If England base their next game plan on last nights performance it could backfire big time

i know people don't want to hear it but what Italy allow the opposition to do is a large part of italys game

England played the way Italy wanted them to.

Gutted we won't see the Senderos and Djourou partnership. Swiss team looks good but Ecuador weren't too bad against England recently.

It's a beautiful time

The Rooney reaction has been overstated, he played really well in the first half, it was dissapointing he couldn't take that chance though as he had done the hard work making the run to stayed onside and cut inside and given the eyes to the keeper, just had to hit the target. That corner was unforgiveable though given the time and situation.
