You were the person that brought up Tevez.
As for Ade, he's a top class striker who'll probably feel he has something to prove. He works a lot harder than people give him credit for and his height makes him useful for defending set pieces.
He fell out with Mancini because he wasn't the first name on the team sheet and his City career basically came to an end when he spent 8 minute preparing himself to come on when we played United despite the fact he'd been warming up up for 15 minutes.
Don - Ade could have given Usain Bolt a run for his money the way he sprinted over to the Arsenal end
@ Boris, there you go......that's a fair statement!!! I'm not saying Adebayor is Lional Messi but compared to our current strikers i believe Adebayor would suit tottenham to the ground and would form an amazing partnership with Van der Vaart or dare i say it......even Defoe
RRP, That celebration is what actually made spurs fans see Adebayor in a different light
A bit immature of me, but im loving the Arsenal fans reactions
Boy were they not impressed
RRP have to agree with you there
That slowmotion shot of some fatboy giving him the V's. Priceless!
Didd I not say this and got laughed at?

If this is true, then this is probably the best outcome that we could of hoped for.
We get a proven PL striker who has real quality.
He will need no time to settle into the premier league.
He will be available from day one, unlike if we wait until the last minute to force through a permanent deal (as would no doubt happen)
He will have a point to prove, espescially against the goons (I assume he will not be able to play against city..)
It gives us time untill the end of the window to get the best price for our fringe players without the pressure of having to sell to fund a striker.
We dont have to fork out the silly money (30m+) that is being asked for strikers at the moment.
It gives us a shot of getting back in the CL without having to go in the red to do it. If we get in the CL, great - it should be easier to get the targets we want, and if not we have not wasted 30mil on a striker who would probably be linked to every CL club just like Berba and Modric.
Freidel, Ade, Samba and Diarra would improve us and give us quality cover in every position, and if we can rid of some fringe players, we could probably not actually spend that much either.
Gotta laugh at the goons pretending to be held back whilst the stewards are just standing there. Even their hooligans are a bunch of bottlers.
Adebayor, Adebayor,
He once was a Gooner,
But not anymore
ADEBAYOOOORRRRR, ADEBAYOOOORRRRR!!!!
WE USED TO HATE HIM!!!!
BUT WE DON'T ANYMOOORRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
If this were true, we did sign him (on loan or whatever) & sing his name, how fickle are we?

ADE
If we do sign him, it will take time for me personally to be OK with it, if he performs like Gallas has i see no reason why he couldn't settle in
