I loved John Barnes dearly. He was just about the most exciting footballer in the country at the time.
Why oh why didn't he just keep hold of the ball for an extra few seconds? Shuddering moment that. Still is.
Love his attitude though. You forget it swiftly and look to next season's title. Easier said than done for us watching at the time.
Messi's header to seal it against Man Utd is up there too.

What i remember most about that goal is steve mcmahon telling all his team mates "one minute" with his finger, then BOOM!!!!!!
What a child you are, RGK.
I'm sure you also enjoyed watching Henry embarrass himself after Barcelona beat Arsenal in 2006.
Both goals 1999 CL final had me going nuts.
Becks vs Greece that got England through.
Maradona's goal vs England In Mexico, which destroyed our mf and defence.
M.Owen giving Argentina nightmares.
Rooneys goal vs Arsenal when at Everton, Arsenal back then were the dog bollox and he took that goal well.
I could go out all night....
Barney's winner vs Real Madrid in 81. Watched it on a black & white telly in a caravan in Rhyl. I went apeshît.
Henry vs Madrid. Are having vs Barca and his 2nd vs Liverpool of the 4 he scored.
Maradona's goal vs England In Mexico, which destroyed our mf and defence.

Every time I watch that goal (about 867 times) i am convinced that Terry Butcher has the last touch that beats Shilton. Have a good look on YouTube.

They didn't tell you the hotel was fully booked?
I'll also admit to applauding when OGS scored the winner v Bayern Munich in 99. I had to shower in bleach after.
Who can forget Wiltords goal to win us the title at old toilet in 2002.
EB
They don't have hotels in Rhyl. Only doss houses and caravans.

they also dont have Welsh accents in Rhyl, just Scouse ones.
8 years old and I out wit the lot of you. Embarrassing
I don't think any United fan has mentioned it but Hernandez's very early opener against Chelsea a few seasons back which basically clinched us the league.
I don't think anyone inside Old Trafford was expecting a goal to come as early as it did and when it went in the place went absolutely mental.
Incredible scenes.

I swear, it's funny you should say that. I always thought the same but over the years I just got fed up arguing the töss but it still doesn't take away the fact - own goal or not, beautiful piece of skill.
Won the league at 3 fart lane, old toilet, dumpfield. Next up is Stamford bridge and the Ethiad.
Gerrard against Inter Milan at Anfield in the closing minutes had me going berserk !! got to love football for moments like that
No one wants to accept that the Greatest Goal of All Time was scored by Terry Butcher.
