No one seemed to mind when Walter Smith said it.

Summer of 2012 lots of people said things that were completely wrong and misinformed, although walter wasnt point scoring , lawwell as an sfa employee was and should know better, it was designed to stop people asking important questions and worked

Anyhow apparently this year your not moving to england you are joining a European league once more till next november

Rangers formed a major part of the agm agenda yesterday with fans failing in a bid to force Celtic to report the SFA to UEFA over their handling of the Ibrox crisis.

A vote on a resolution to question why the SFA granted Rangers a licence in the wake of their liquidation was adjourned indefinitely.

Some Celtic shareholders believe Rangers were treated too leniently by the SFA and want a full investigation.

The Parkhead board had refused to back the proposal and after a meeting with those keen to bring UEFA into the matter, a compromise appears to have been reached.

Bankier said: “I can advise that meetings have taken place with some of the requisitioners involved and I’m pleased to report those meetings were very positive.

“They’ve assisted us to understand the concerns of the shareholders and a line of communication has been established, one that will continue.

Looks like it was really a rangers agm, thanks for holding our agm bhoys <biggin>

Rangers were also the target of remarks by chairman Ian Bankier. Asked if all club assets were owned by Celtic, he said : " Yes, I can confirm that. I'm not going to show you the title deeds, though.'

He also said of one director: "Ian has been elevated to the House of Lords and has taken the title of Lord Livingston of Parkhead. I thought he would go with Lord Livingston of Ibrox - so he could lord it over Rangers."

So when rangers fans say liquidation meant the end and its a new club they are just stating the facts, but when celtic do it they are reported.
