Think you're being very dismissive of the Spurs players, maybe that's what you're trying to do? They can all play a bit, it's not just strength.
I really liked Dembele at Fulham but he's not kicked on the way I thought he might. I do like Sandro though, he's the one midfielder of theirs I would really like to have.
In terms of creative players then I think Coutinho is better than Holtby (although Eriksen is also better surely?) and if he plays well for us then we stand a real chance.
Broad brush strokes i guess. Im not trying to be dissmissive, i jjust think overall spurs gave more power but we have "slightly" more technique.
I do like dembele and think he is technical as well as powerfull.
Arsenal's midfield comfortably dealt with both of those but as a neutral (haha) having to choose which one will come out on top then I'd say Spurs.
But then Spurs have Soldado while Liverpool have an in form Suarez so I predict a boring nil-niler.....
Gooner....your right, lfc were quite poor vs arsenal; arsenal dominated the midfield and i would like to think br has learned his lesson tactics wise. Arsenal fully deserved their win and the return fixture at anfield is one i want to see; i like to see if br has learned and is improving.

I'd say Coutinho has the potential to be world class and has moments that show this. Until he does it more consistently, he can't be considered as a world class player....
Whose fault is it going to be when we lose GB?
Obviously you won't accept you were wrong, so who are you going to blame it on this time?

What is it with the spurs arrogance anyway?
Midfield is the one area where we are a lot stronger than you Especially without Gerrard I think Sandro, Dembele and Paulinho will dominate.
However, you have Suarez whilst we don't create enough. If we can find a bit of magic in the final third we will win, if Suarez gets a couple of chances you will win. Should be interesting.
You may get away with saying Coutinho is technical, heck you may even say Allen is technical (very loosely), but seriously, you need to see the doctor, if you ever think Henderson (Mr Chicken Run) or Lucas (The hackett man) are even remotely technical.
Henderson is Forrest Gump personified, and sometimes I wonder why he keeps running, even when the game has stopped?
Lucas is just there to break the game down and is nowhere as good as Sandro or Paulinho. It would make sense of Lucas was so good that his national team would play him, instead of Sandro or Paulinho.
It makes sense only when you are deluded.
I don't harbour any hard feeling against LFC, in fact I am glad they are trying to mount a challenge of some sort, but perspective is needed here.
The fact LFC is 2nd right now, their fans should just enjoy that. The next few games will see them dropping down imo.
Heck they were league leaders not so lon ago, and were talking of the title
Like they say in the backywards of scouser land "Hey, calm down"
May the best team win tomorrow...Yeah us!
How you can say you're a better team than us is beyond me, it really is. I'm saying that as a Liverpool fan but really, I think anyone can see we're playing better football than you right now. We're also scoring more goals, picking up points from games we wouldn't pick up last season, and we have the most inform player in the league.
I'm not saying we'll win tomorrow. WHL has been a notoriously hard place for us to go to in recent seasons, and we've been lacking on our travels as of late, but the fact that even if you win tomorrow you still won't be above us is testament to us as a team. A team which is, right now, better than you. Only if you believe all those nonsensical league tables though

Feck me, being lectured by fans whose club have achieved the square root of nothing. Where exactly does this misplaced arrogance come from?
I would say Liverpool have the stronger starting X1 when everyone is fit but spurs have the stronger squad.
Personally I think top 4 is between us two as United are such a mess right now. Tomorrow is massive. Probably more important for spurs as we are at home and already 3 points behind.
