now the whole team is under pressure. i think we will be bundled for less 100 now.
not easy. England find it difficult on slightly quicker wickets.to score aswell. Youcant get forward and its hard to score off the backfoot.. I thought England would have batted better than they have.
England I think the problem with England there was they came from from playing their tests in slow pitches in England. So I feel they struggled to adapt quickly on the more bouncier pitches.
Yep and there warm up games were on slow tracks at Hobart..
Home conditions do really make a difference to the home team. In India the ball that bounced on Pujara and hit his bottom hand wouldn't have have got shin high in India.
But the spinners in India tie away the team down and they find it hard to score.
Its only reallybeen south Africa that's done well home and away.. England have a terrific home record so have India..And even though Australia have been poor in recent years. Playing them at home is no push over.
kohli and pujara played well. Hope they carry on like this after lunch.
Against the run of play..being run out in a test match is criminal. Lets see what Sharma has to offer.
What a stup1id way to break the partnership.
Kohli at fault there
It was a good partnership there. This is exactly how dravid and tendulkar played. Tendulkar was always very elagant and fluent scorer, whereas dravid was well composed and didnt give his wicket away easily. Great sign if you ask me.
Hope kohli and rohit add a good partnership because if we manage to score 400+ in this innings, SA will be on back foot
Kohli has been magnificent so far. He is almost scoring at run a ball. Hope he carries on till the end.
Anything over 350 and India are in thd driving seat...
Quite dissapointing from rohit there. he could have easily left that. Rahane has to bat long with kohli now
Yeah, silly from Rohit. He's been sat there watching how well Kohli and Pujara played and to come out and play like that was poor.
Hopefully Rahane doesn't get too carried away with trying to score quickly and just rotates the strike. Let Kohli do most of the scoring.
Yes Rahane and Kohli are key atm for India to push for a big total. After that we have dhoni and ashwin who could potentially help to score a massive score if these 2 score atleast 350.
Kohli...such a flat track bully!
He really needs to push on now, his job is only half done.
Yh Top knock that. This will shut a few detractors mouth.
Needs to score a big one here and tire SA in the field
If these two see out the rest of the day, that would be an excellent, excellent day for India.
Has to be kohli's best international 100 this. Cant get any tougher than this. The best bowling attack and score 100 after being 25-2. Feel so happy for him.
Yeah, not just because of the score when he came in but the way he has played - his judgement of when to play and leave has been fantastic. Hopefully Dhawan and Sharma are watching..
Been watching since an hour before tea. Kohli has been excellent.
And another four
Hope you spank the arrogant Saffers
Cannot afford to lose any more wickets today..will be a tough last hour against the new ball
Dident expect that at the start of the day.
Excellent response form the ODI's and the comments by Steyn. (saying the batsman looked scared etc..) They done teh talking with the Bat.
Indias day just, important day coming up tommorrow. 300+ score is a must
Bit disappointed with the run rate though. 275-285 would have been ideal. Dhoni doesn't look like he'll last long, it'll be up to Rahane and Ashwin to put on some runs tomorrow. 350-400 will definitely give India a lot of confidence. Looking forward to tomorrow!
