CL @ chrislepkowski. still nothing decided#wba

seems like a false dawn ffs !!!

Latest from Chris Lepkowski via twitter

#wba now in the final throes of deciding on next boss. Might not be until midweek/second-half-of-week. No decision made on who it will be
Gut feeling, as things stand, is nothing will happen or be decided today (unless lots of things fall into place quickly). #wba

But nearly there

Please please please be Thomas Schaaf

A friend of mine in Germany tells me that Schaaf is signing papers for the Baggies even as we speak.

Might be true.

On the other hand, as I drive past Bremen often, I can understand why people might make stuff up; theres precious little else to do there....

Jol, Mackay and the other British based guys don't really give me confidence.

Agreed. Jol especially would be a really backward step IMO.

Neither of them are exactly lookers JH. Surely you must be holding out for 'dreamboat' Flores?!

It seems all the money is going on Flores & Zola ...

This is what CL is confirming on twitter after Zola was interviewed for the first time today.

Looks like its from those 2 & Schaaf ....

Changes every bloody day i give up now...

Not sure what Zola would give us , but a big name and may attract more names to the club had a awful last few months at Watford

Flores does have a very good record.

Total Played 367, Won 171, Drew 89, Lost 107, GF 582, GA 444, GD +138, Win % 46.59

Schaaf or Flores would be excellent.

Top top appointments. As would Mel.

Zola is no better than Clarke in my opinion.

Yes - Flores, Mel, Schaaf (pleaseeee)
Maybe - Pellegrino, Mendilibar
No - McKay, Jol, Jones , Pearce , the rest

Would like Quique Flores or Gianfranco Zola.

Got a soft spot for suave managers. sorry, not sorry.
Honestly, the names are that obscure all I can really do is trust the board.

Flores is my favourite of the two

I think Zola would be out of his depth in the PL, much like Holloway, Di Canio and now Poyet. Good players some of them, but coaching credentials iffy at best.
