Definately been Chelseas best player over the past 2 seasons, hence the club player of the year awards he's won.
If you asked any to rank Ozil, Mata, Carzola, Silva, you'll get plenty of different opinions and orders.
its not a fair comparison because the PL is easy to get assists and goals in.
Also Jose liked Ozil at Madrid but dislikes Mata (as a player).
Therefore if you consider Jose's opinion,
ozil > mata.

The difference is spurs fans don't have the need to justify their price tags. We overpaid for Soldado, whilst Lamela is one for the future who will probably be an excellent player.

Actually, Mata would start for Arsenal in my opinion. He is better than Walcott. Creates more, good performer, premier league experience, top player, good value for money.
It's not as if Ozil is playing in a different league to him, both players are very similar in quality, although, the differences between the 2 get cancelled out eventually.

He seemed to love scoring against man utd, 3 goals I remember one at OT squeezed it in off post, the two games man utd scored 3 at stamford bridge he scored one from a volley in box as well as one from a freekick. Torres never scared me when he was playing it was mata who was hard to stop.

He's been here for 5 months. 5 months. He is not going to justify his price tag in 5 months. No-one does. Over the course of the next few years in terms of how he develops as a Premier League player will show whether the price tag is justified or not (it is IMO).
Either way, to get quality, you have to pay premium prices and that's what we've done. We made a calculated risk, something your mob don't understand it seems
