buy 3 cm's and a left back
Central Midfield. Address that straight the way, even if we get no one else in we HAVE to get that CM
Start playing players in their natural position
If I was suddenly put in as manager I would hire out a venue, get in a load of charlie and have a huge party with my mates. After all, you've just received a contract paying you millions a year.
-drop valencia.
-try a different formation.
-stop changing our back line every single match.
-not sack title winning staff.
-buy some fecking CMs that can play football properly.
-stop playing jones and smalling at right back and having jones as a utility man.
-STOP PLAYING GIGGS.
i think they are all pretty fair to be honest.
switch to a 4231 formation and bring in another defensive coach
Retire Giggs, Rio and Fletch.
Take Bebe back from loan and give him a shot up front if Van persie and Rooney are out.
Give Lingard a chance on the wing instead of Valencia.
Flog Cleverley to resist the temptation of playing him.
Pick a consistent back 4.
Tell Kagawa to hit the weights.
Shrink the pitch to half its size !
Recall Anderson and/or Powell (we need bodies in midfield)
The rest of the season would be "damage control" just trying to ensure we get into the top 4, although it wouldn't be a disaster if we didn't.
In the summer, I would get rid of a few of the deadwood;
Rio, Giggs, Fletcher, Young and Valencia
I would BREAK THE BANK to bring in a couple of top drawer midfielders (Vidal, Gindogan, Modric ect...)
Play a CB pairing of 2 of Samlling/Jones/Evans, allowing us to play a much higher back line, thus allowing us to press far higher up the pitch.
I'd sack all the back room staff and bring in my own people, and I'd buy a midfielder with an Afro.
*what would you do*
1\ 4231: Carrick, Fletcher, Nani, Mata, Rooney, Van Persie
2\ Prioritize free form movement over static, positional play in attack.
3\ Play a high line with Jones/Smalling at home, play a deep line with Ferdinand/Vidic against harder opposition/away games.
Probably choose which mansion, sports car and lingerie model wife to have with my £4m a year.
Then check on the paul scholes and keano clones that we have growing the the carrington research lab.

Why?
Don't you want us to win?

Ferdinand needs to be retired ASAP.
First thing I would do is hire a team of lawyers and have them camped on JA606 - defamation claims would increase revenue tenfold, most of it coming from mudd
Second thing I would do is instruct my coaches to be camped on Ja606 so they know who to pick, where to play then, and how we set up tactically. I would also expect them to learn about training techniques, who we need to sell and transfer targets from the website
Increased turnover. Guarenteed success!!
Tell the players;
"If you lose, you don't get paid, if you do, I don't get paid"
Either way, we win the title, or I get richer!

It has always been a concern to me, the effect of him still being around.
I can remember the same thing happening when Sir Matt retired.
