Once the clubs find out that Man Utd are in for their players they will put up the transfer fees for their players, so your estimate could be as much as £50m+ out. Another problem could be if you fail to finish in the top 4 and end up in the Europa League or don't qualify for any European comp, then will the players come.
I struggle to see how anyone with any sanity would suggest that the Glazers would want to jeopardise their investment and the value of the brand by letting their level drop.
When it gets to the end of next season if United are only 3/4 you'll probably see Moyes go as I don't think they'd be as understanding as the previous regimes were with SAF.

Bombshell here but I think we need to phase Carrick out. He's 33 this year and certainly we need a replacement at some point. As we've still not replaced Scholes we need to start looking at Carrick.

Not too fussed about Carrick, he is actually one of the reasons why we cannot play a pressing game.
He needs to be phased out
