I would still like to see him given a chance with real backing but valid points made.
I have not read other comments but in response to Warwick "And he's not had to contend with his best players being sold against his wishes - unlike Warnock or Grayson." aside from Ross McCormack, who else has performed at a consistent, good standard that we would be disappointed to see go?
Warwick - we don't know what went on in the summer though. Ok he paid good money for Murphy but missed out on others didn't he?
Maybe the cash just wasn't there?
Not saying he had it worse than the two you mention but it hasn't been as good for him as we all thought it would be has it?
He's had more than enough chances to prove himself and telling us that teams have nicked a result from us when we've been clearly outplayed each and every time just adds insult to injury.
Same squad as Warnock plus his own additions are there's little or no improvement.
This myth about McDermott is based on Reading. Reading is nothing like Leeds United. Expectations here are, rightly or wrongly, far higher.
In my opinion this is a manager who really doesn't know what his best team or tactic is. He has a tendency to panic. He's way out of his comfort zone and it shows.
