Sewerez is a habitual diver and cheat, he is always looking to go down, over reacts when tackled and feigns injury when he commits a bad tackle himself.

I do not know why referees fall over themselves to award Goofy penalties, maybe it is because he plays for Liverpool, historically they always get the benefit of doubt from refs.

It was a pen. There was a similar incident earlier this season where Walcott should've been awarded a pen against Chelsea.

Walcott should also have been sent off for nearly stabbing Coutinho in the face during the first half

We also should have had a penalty for when Skrtel studded Cazorla in the shin at near head height and others said something about a second we could have had that I missed. So that's 2 against us + the soft penalty + Gerrard not getting a red = 4 in Liverpools favour vs we didn't concede the pen for the Ox foul on Suarez = 1. So 4-1 in Liverpools favour, but which one will they go on about, the 1 in our favour.

I dont get why they play him as an anchor man.

I thought that the Pod challenge was a soft but giveable pen and the OX challenge was a definite pen. We rode our luck today . Let's just admit it. Don't really think Gerrard should have gone off but again it could have gone either way.

Not really comparable, Theo has his legs taken from underneath him - Suarez just felt pressure on the back of his leg.

I don't really blame Suarez for gone down to win the penalty in the current climate, but rather the fact that we have reached a point where mere 'contact' can be used to justify anything. Contact does not necessarily mean a foul and it irks me so much when now when pundits perpetuate this fallacy.

Might not have been enough to bring him down but you can't kick someone in the back of the leg in the box and not expect a penalty

Cazorla should have had a pen. suarez should have had one. gerrard should have been sent off. so in balance, we were fúcked by the ref more than liverpool.

Yep really hate it when people say contact = Pen.

It that the case the every touch a player receives should be a free kick.

His tackle was made when arsenal were on the counter and the ref didnt book him in the first half for a terrible challenge when the crowd started booing.

Podolski should've be off too. Rugby tackle on Flanagan and kept fouling. Didn't even get a yellow.

Thats what Im trying to explain to these thick scouse chaps. Its a tap.Look at the replays.suarez just felt a touch and went on his knees.I didnt even think he was really looking for it.

The Ox challenge is emabarassing though.I actually though the soft penalty came at a time when we were trying to score a 3rd goal.Before that Liverpool were battling to create clear chances like in the first half.

Webb was awful but its not the reason why Liverpool lost.they lost because they didnt take their chances and were overun in midfield.
