walker haaha, that guy goes walkabouts
Hart
Johnson Cahill Jagielka Gibbs
Gerrard Wilshere
Ox Rooney Lallana
Sturridge
If England have any chance of getting out off the group, Terry needs to be brought back into the fold
As above Walker
you know you're allowed 12 substitutes right?

Lol I have to agree Walker is a bit of a risk.
I've just been too disappointed with Johnson this season. Gibbs ahead of Cole, Baines and Shaw? I don't think so, pal. Shaw at 18 years age is already better than Gibbs.

Alright alright. I regret picking Walker for a minute. He's too much of a risk.
----------------Hart---------------
Johnson--Cahill--Jagielka--Baines
-------Gerrard---Chamberlain-----
Sterling-------Rooney------Lallana
---------------Sturridge-------------
Subs; Forster, Ruddy, Shaw, Smalling, Jones, Wilshere, Barkley, Welbeck, Henderson, Barry, Rodriguez, Lambert
Next is Henderson, international quality, not yet, he's only getting his act together at the pool I feel.

Personally I don't think there is any need for 4 full backs to go, especially with Smalling and Jones in the squad. Ideally I would have another CB, but unless Terry unretires we have no-one.
Carrick will probably be in place of Barry, and Wilshere is obviously a major doubt.
Up front is another headache behind the first choices.

You have the Ox as a defending midfielder. I think he should be spearheading our attack!
I agree with DJ about taking Jay Rodriguez, he could change a game for us and can play across the front!
I wouldnt play rooney in the team, its not a lfc vs ma u decision, its purely and simply that he doesnt deserve a start above others. How walker gets in above johnson is laughable mate, they only way he would is if johnson is injured.
Id play;
------------------Hart--------------
Johnson--Jagielka--Cahill--Baines-
---------Gerrard-------Lallana-----
----------------Barkley-------------
---Sterling------Sturridge------Ox--
Shaw been good but baines is terrific for me and deserves his chance. Henderson been great for us but I think lallana offers more for England, barkley is a talent and id play him no problem in the number 10 role.
Sterling and ox on the wings should cause any teams problems.

He wouldn't be the defending mid though would he? He would be the box to box player and Gerrard needs someone with pace in there!
I did say ttliv and believe me that is from a neatral.
Perfect combo already in place.

I think Woy sees him more as a CM. He also has the energy to play in there. Gerrard is more of the DM, with Ox playing the "Ramsey at Arsenal" role.
Think the fact he has hardly played this season will be a benefit to England in the summer.
Barkley, Wilshere, Lallana are better than Henderson. But none of them will do well playing alongside Gerrard because none of them will do the dirty work and pressing that Henderson is prepared to do. I think having Henderson in the team is vital in the big games unless we're playing Costa Rica then you could have a trio of Gerrard, Lallana and Barkley, no problem.
----------------------------------Hart----------------------------------
Johnson----------Terry--------------Cahill---------------Cole
----------------------Gerrard--------Wilshere--------------------
------Ox----------------------Rooney--------------------Sterling--
--------------------------------Sturridge----------------------------
OP, you have to have 2 keepers on the subs bench.
I don't think Henderson should be in the starting 11 but he should be ahead of Wilshere who does feck all apart from dribble past 1-2 players then play a square ball into an attackers feet.

That sounds quite effective, tbh.
