Yes, but I'm a United fan
Well obviously, they're expecting the triple we're expecting nothing!
Look and "win" is good but as I mentioned on another thread the "bigger" clubs expectations have gone through the roof
Some might say finishing 4th in the league is more important than the cups

It's obvious, but not for the reason above.
FA Cup >>> COC Everybody knows that. Except Tom Daley
if you both finish in top 4 then obviously the fa cup is a more coveted cup, but say arsenal got fa cup and fifth you could argue top 4 and league cup is better. But youre both most likely to finish in top 4 so moot point i guess.
kneerash, it has got to the point where fans celebrate 4th more than a cup
Football has got a bit weird do it has
Well if we win the Capital One and finish above you. Which realistically we will do, then we will have had a more successful season then you.
Still think we'll do the double

Nope.
if arsenal finish 4th and have to prepare for a playoff, then for me city would have had a better season, but considering the expectations of the 2 teams at the start of the season, if arsenal win the cup and come 3rd, they would have had a better season
How is finishing above someone not having a more successful season?

Say you finish 3rd with Carling cup and we finish 4th with the FA Cup, i'd argue our season was more successful due to the huge money your club has, so the expectation levels are higher than ours too.
So say for instance
city finish second
Arsenal finish third
They've had a more successful season?!

Because if you don't win the league, you've effectively just achieved the same objective. CL football for next season. So it passes on the trophies. You have a CóC cup. Let's see what happens to the FA Cup.
Not to mention the fact that you spent close to £100m this season "just" to finish 2nd and a leaue cup.
The money argument with arsenal fans really?!
Yeah because arsenal paid for ozil with penny chews and a Freddo
if arsenal finish 4th and have to prepare for a playoff, then for me city would have had a better season,

I agree with that

But we've finished second hence been the the second best team in the country not third or fourth best.
I still think we'll win the league.

So if a team finishes 4th in the PL but is 20 points behind 3rd place but wins the COC or FA Cup, they've had a better season? How the fack do you explain that one?

Well it does apply if you wish to debate what "success" is.
If you finish 2nd and we finish 3rd, we both qualify for automatic CL position. However, City would have spent double than us, at least. I don't see why you wouldn't include transfer expenditure into the equation.
Spurs spent £105m and will probably get 5th. Everton spent fúck all, and will probably get 6th. Who's had the more successful season?
