I know Suarez needs to win a lot more to match what Maradona did for Napoli but single handedly winning them the league this season must surely rank up with Maradon's 86/87 season.

Not really, you can feasibly make the same argument about Van Persie last year and he isn't anywhere near as good.

Suarez is a flat track bully, found out against the top teams as we have seen many, many times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
are you going to realise that as the season goes on, these comments just make people like you look more and more stupid? Even those that hate us are showing a begrudging respect for Liverpool and Suarez.
Grow up.
How many goals as he scored against this seasons top four?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know, but whether he's scored or not he still has a massive influence on these games, either assisting or creating space for others to score.
Against the current top four, Liverpool have won one game and lost three games and you say that he has a massive influence on these games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah, so you're changing the parameters to suit your argument? It changed from top teams in your original post, which could include the top 7/8 teams to the top four. Bravo
Suarez is simply astounding. Him and Sturridge have been the best strike force in the league this season by far
Messi still has more goals than him despite missing 2 months.
he has 23 in the league..

So you think that the top 8 are all 'top' teams. Everyone knows that the top teams are the ones in the top four you clown.

He's not single handedly won us anything. Yes, he's our best player, but the way we play really does rely on the whole team doing their part. We are anything but a one man team......
Penguin
United had been winning the league consistently so it's really not the same thing plus RVP had much more quality around him and he was playing under arguably the greatest manager in English football.

Arsenal are in real danger of not being a top team then.
So you think that the top 8 are all 'top' teams. Everyone knows that the top teams are the ones in the top four you clown.
-------------------------------------
So if one of the current top 4 drop out of the top 4 for a few games, those results suddenly don't count? People like you have been busy telling we're in a false position all season and will end up in 7th place if we're lucky.
Clown indeed

If Liverpool do win the league would Suarez have matched Maradona's achievements at Napoli?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think so. Liverpool will be the most average team to have won the PL, so definitely has a case.

Stupid clown, pipe down you mug, Manchester United have exactly the same team now as they did last year, actually they now have both Mata and Fellaini and are now 7th.

You forgot the manager's influence. Manager makes a big difference
And to think, some of the ja606 professional scouts didnt want him last summer
What makes his stats even more incredible is the fact that he's the only one on that list who doesn't take penalties.
