Normally I'd agree with you, I dont like changing managers but I just dont have that gut feeling of any confidence with Sherwood.
Big risk to keep him, I think an even bigger risk than the other option of getting an experienced manager in.
1) you appear to think the clamour to get rid is based purely on yesterday's game,
2) see 1
I think AVB sacking was wrong because
1 - There was a need to micro manage his style (Adey ect)
2 - No direct replacement was lined up
All irreverent now though, I was a keen supporter of Tim before yesterday, but he showed a real issue with selection, and to sit in the stands was not on
He'll be gone in the summer,
I actually like what hes about. Get the players fighting. 10v10 battles all over the pitch. I agree with this but hes too hot headed and we'd be going into it completely blind not knowing in the slightest how he'd handle a transfer window etc.
"Stick with Tim"
Are you kidding? Seriously?
Seriously?
He does need time... to finish his coaching badges, learn more about tactics, and to spend some time in the lower leagues working out his team's style of play.
He shouldn't be doing any of those things with Tottenham. I take my hat off to him giving it a go in a difficult situation but he's simply not good enough right now.
For me, we need Van Gaal.

That's what he talks about, Messiah. The reality is there wasn't 1 player fighting yesterday in any part of the pitch. He's full of air. Hot, goooner, sh)t air.
Tim has 0 qualifications and 0 experience.
Our club is in a right mess... and we've gone backwards 7-8 years.
Tim isn't the man who can sort this out.
Should have stuck with AVB. We're an absolute joke of a club.

yeah its true alright, he does talk it but hes not getting the players fired up at all
Timothy's first job should have been at somewhere in the mid to lower regions of the table in League 1.
We are trying to get into the top 4 with a League 1 level manager. Think about that for a second.
Doovde sherwood hasnt been any worse then avb, the team has carried on this season getting smashed against the better sides, so maybe it is not the manager that was the problem but the squad of players we have.
Our biggest problem is the defense and a fit dm- what has happened to capoue?
I've said it before, against the big teams you can play with all the effort in the world and you might win the odd tie, but without fundamental tactics you can't hope to win on a consistent basis.
City 6-0
Liverpool 5-0, 4-0
Chelsea 4-0
West Ham 3-0
Embarrassing
I still maintain the funniest thing is that the purpose who is our current manager had a big hand in making the last manager leave.
Agent Sherwood?!
And Sherwood was the man who said no to Suarez when he was at Ajax
Tim was a great appointment and given 10/15 years he will be a top class manager I personally would delay the new stadium for 12 years, forget about CL for 15 years while we wait patiently for Tim to fulfill his potential.
Stick with Tim he has already shown real progess in his tactics and team selection.
Not only has he shown us just how good he is as a manager but he is also capable of saving the club a lot of money.
Just think about it sensibly for a minute, championship wages are a lot lower than premiership wages so Tim could actually save us a fortune.
You know it makes sense to stick with Tim

Yes he has been worse:
Worse win %. Failing in the cup games.
And we've since realised he was the guy that said Suarez wasn't good enough to play for us.
Iv been pretty scathing of Tim, but watching his interview after the match yesterday I actually felt sorry for him. The guy is so out of his depth it's painful to watch

Liverpool 9-0 on aggregate.
We're competing with these teams at the top? No competition whatso faacking ever. That's not a one-off freak result, that's our level right now.
I like "nightstalker" grandspurs. And I like daytime sarky grandspurs too.
But which is better (there's only way to find out) ... ??

Has to be endured for that alleged 1m payoff. Hang in there, Timmy.
